So theres this website called the female delusion calculator where a woman can enter her expectations of a man (money, height, race, age etc) and then see how common or rare that type of man is.  But as a man, you can enter your personal range of metrics to see how you stack up vs all men in the population.  Are you a unicorn?

Honestly, I have no intention of ever getting divorced or being unmarried to my wife, but if I became unattached, I know of at least 5 women who would hunt me down.  And those are just the ones I know of.  These "unicorn" women get on the ball quick.

The interesting thing about the website is it asks "can he be married?"  There is a line of thinking that when women are sexually free to choose anything, they gradually as a society over a number of decades gravitate towards being in a harem.  This is because the number of rich alpha males is way too small, and eventually their morals break down to a point where they think its better to share a rich alpha male than anything else.

For example, the rise of polyarmory in the US is a step in that direction. Women start to get accustomed to dating in groups. The next step is to weed out of the group of all the males except the best one.  Then its a harem.

The fixation on wealth doesn't make sense to me. Being with someone day in and day out who you don't necessarily care for, simply because it means you have more access to things is ridiculous. Uncomfortably hollow. So much more fun and fulfilling to actually enjoy the other person, and bring out the better parts of each other.

Yeah but you can make this sort of argument about any of the criteria; the entire idea is to narrow it down within your preferred window.  On the "wealth," which is worded more as income than wealth, IMO a higher earner shows a probability of more responsibility, more maturity.

Not to be morbid, but since I may get a death sentence every 12 weeks, I filled it in for my perception for my wife (and ran it by her, she didn't object).  Age 40-65, not married, not obese, at least 5'6 (she's only 5'1; if anything she'd have a height cap), and makes $100K/year.  1.8%, cat enthusiast.  I then lowered the income down to $80K, it bumped up to 2.7%, aspiring cat lady.

I suspect that not married and not obese are the biggest factors here.
