What could possibly be different between the United States where we have tons of mass shootings and Europe where there is virtually no gun violence?

It's idiotic to say that it doesn't exist, or you don't wan to learn about something because the source is biased.

You know what smart people do?  They read the biased sources, knowing they are biased, and they form an opinion on their own.  If you ignored biased sources you would ignore everything, and know nothing.

The Highland Park shooter was a loner/loser who played an obscene amount of hyper-realistic first person shooter video games.     I know people love them and I am not suggesting banning them but how many times does this need to be a common theme for the young perps of these shootings before we acknowledge it and try to figure out something to do about it?

I’m not totally discounting this idea, just wondering why other developed nations that also have first person shooter games don’t have nearly our incidence of mass shootings and overall gun violence.

I can’t put my finger on what might be different here in the US.

Possible the mom was, but the dad was for sure a MAGA.  A Trump archive was literally the only account he followed on twitter, and he was liking 2nd amendment content.  Apparently the dad sponsored the perp’s gun permit application, so wonder if we’ll see any charges for him.  (For the record I don’t think I would blame this on either political party)
