The game is no longer showing a score and just says postponed. I hope they don’t start over from the beginning because the Bengals were on a roll and on track to overtake the Bills in playoff seedlings.

Yeah I could see either.    As much as the Bengals were "rolling" it was still very early.  Not many options but Bills forfeiting seems shltty for them.  Isn't like Zac Taylor was urging to play.  Seemed like a mutual decision and probably the only decision.   

Bills probably better off away in playoffs anyway.  Bill's stadium absolutely rocks in big games but if Buffalo gets a foot of snow and 5 degree temps, that certainly does not favor the Bills who until recently don't even try to run and have trouble stopping the run.  

No idea what happens.   Seems impossible to play it this week before their Sunday game.

This would be different if we wer't talking number one seed implications. Cincinnati and Kansas City are directly impacted here. Looking like a huge * if Buffalo manages to back their way into HFA and a possible championship.

So much is already planned for the playoff weeks, I find it hard to believe they will just push everything back a week.  I think the game is just cancelled and we deal with it.  I would hope that people don't cry about their team being treated unfairly because a guy almost died on the field.

No it shouldn't...  Have them play it Jan 14-15 and push back the AFC/NFC games a week and get rid of the extra week between the conference championships and the Super Bowl...   The "Pro Bowl" can be at 1pm, then the normal times for the AFC/NFC championship games...

Well you can't play this week because it just happened last night and there is another game Sunday, so the only option is to push everything back a week, which is a logistical nightmare, so you have to look at the cost/benefit, and there really is no benefit, because the game is not needed, both teams are already in the playoffs, so it's just seeding, and you can determine the seeding without it.  It's simply not worth it.

If a bye week wasn't on the line, I would agree with you, but the Bills should be penalized HFA because of a fluke situation like this?

That's part of life.  I'm sure the Bills players are not pissed that the dude had a heart attack or that they missed their chance for a first round bye, why should any of us be?

And I will say it again, this would entirely the incorrect solution...  They can do what they want, but the NFL should do everything to get this game played if it depends on the seedings...
