41-28 chargers.  im expecting 2-3 interceptions of mahomes to set up a short field for easy TDs.

By my count, Mahomes has thrown more interceptions than TDs 7 times in 65 games.  He is 5-2 in those games.  One of those losses was the Super Bowl vs the Buccaneers.

Justin Herbert has done it 3 times in 33 games.  He is 0-3.

Mahomes has 25 fumbles in his career and lost 10. When Mahomes loses at least 1 fumble, he is 5-4.  And he is facing one hell of a 4 man pass rush.  Herbert has just 9 career fumbles and lost just 2.  Herbert has not fumbled in his last 17 games.

Herbert has never thrown 3 picks in a game.  Mahomes has done it just twice.

Herbert has 14 games where he threw 0 picks.  Mahomes has 35 games with 0 picks.  However, Mahomes is throwing more picks than ever now that teams never blitz.

I am not some huge Chargers believer.  But why can't you believe it?  Chargers beat them by 6 last year in KC.  KC returned the favor and beat them by 6 at their place.

I don't care what the Chargers did in one game.  Mahomes is 5-2 against the Bolts.  KC is something like 12-3 in their last 15 games against them.  But the main reason is because it's the Chargers.  When I think of the Chargers I think of the Clippers in the NBA.  Doesn't matter what they do they always find a way to screw it up.  Didn't JustInCharge proclaim the Chargers the Team of the Millenium or some crap like that last year,  and the Chargers didn't even make the playoffs?  That doesn't mean the Chargers can't win in any given game.  They may.  But IMO if they play this game 10 times KC wins 8-9 of them and in more convincing fashion than any Chargers win.  Chargers gonna Charger.

I don't usually root against teams, but here we've got Justin with his incessant "team of the geological epoch" predictions, and Toofy with injury updates like we care.  I guess I'll root against the Chiefs, since cmh has been doing it here for like 20 years.  Call it a lifetime achievement award I guess.

Plus the Chiefs are still complaining about the Cards' turf even though Butker never planted his cleats.

No I didn't.  I made a thread asking the question could they be team of the decade?  a bunch of trolls decided I DID proclaim them to be.  So then I just trolled them back and ran with it.  Karma being what it is, the Chargers suddenly stopped being so sleepy in free agency and went on a signing spree and actually built a super bowl team this year.  Its like karma wants to shut the trolls up.

This is your problem.  Maybe don't proclaim things like this until they've actually sniffed it as an accomplishment.   If they don't make the playoffs again, and given their division that's very possible, you'll  just look foolish again.

Don't agree.   They are 2-2 in the last 2 seasons with chargers winning both in KC.  What does 5 years ago matter with different players and a different QB? Last 2 seasons are relevant.   They split the 4 meetings.  Now you are laying 4 pts with the chiefs.   Thats no value.  Even if the Chiefs win they still have to win by more than 4.
