A now viral clip of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., made the rounds on Twitter as people across the political spectrum criticized the progressive political figure.

On Wednesday, protestors crashed Ocasio-Cortez’s town hall in Queens, shouting at her and holding signs. While protestors began chanting "AOC has got to go," Ocasio-Cortez sat on the stage and pretended to dance to the beat of the chants. 

Eventually, a majority of the room turned on the protestors, allowing Ocasio-Cortez to speak.

Social media users shared the clip as an example of Ocasio-Cortez "mocking" her constituents in what they saw as a humiliating display.

First, she is young and while she does posses political savvy she lacks wisdom and often we can see her lack of impulse control and judgement.  Again, she is basically a child and acts as such.  Her behavior should not be surprising. 

Second, its a bad look. But every politician has their moments when they let down their guard and show their true self. 

I suspect she was having some issues handling the heckling, being young and ill-equipped for difficult situations by the weak education system of today it stands to reason that this was little more than a nervous reaction.

I stop calling people children when they hit their late 20's, 30s. That woman is emotionally a child, I'll give you that. But she's going to be 35 years old in another year or so. You get your time to be an adult child when you first move out of your parents place when you are in your late teens, early 20s, but mid 30's, time to take ownership of adulthood. 

That woman is an emotional wreck and unstable. She should not be in a political position of power. Of course neither should be a lot of our politicians. It's amazing that people voted that mistake into office.

It's what protesters do. Try to be noticed above all the others. Liberals just have the skills down way better than the conservatives as they have had way more practice over the years.

Yeah I get it. It’s their right to do it to some extent, I mean eventually you’re just trespassing or whatever, but obvious you need to be able to protest elected officials. Still makes them annoying d0uchebags though and it’s weird that everyone focused on her reaction vs their initiating conduct.

Put it this way, when the shoe is on the other foot I pretty much don’t blame anyone for how they react to liberal protesters, short of violence or encouraging violence (which Trump did, and which is FAR worse). When somebody’s up in your face it’s hard to blame your reaction as long as it’s within the bounds of the law.
