Honestly the Salame dude (FTX co-CEO that donated $20m to Republicans) might be just as shady as SBF.  He created the PAC and was the primary donor.  So was basically donating to himself.

I’m not a crypto expert, but my understanding is that SBF wanted the industry regulated.  I presume if he got in with the politicians, he could help influence policies that helped him and potentially shutting out competitors or making it harder for new competitors to enter.

Yes to the first.    Neither of us knows on the 2nd.  Which means you can't say he didn't launder money there either.    There's a lot more circumstantial evidence for laundering.    He's a confirmed thief of billions/sketchy AF,  Ukraine is heavily in crypto and one of the most sketchy AF countries.    You know that but you are still saying that it's more likely than not that they weren't laundering $ there?

I’m not shilling for him. I guess you could say in this case I am shilling for Biden, but really just because I don’t think he’s involved in laundering money from Ukraine through FTX.  I will give you one thing:  I don’t know why SBF hasn’t been arrested.  That could have something to do with the money he donated, but I still maintain the money he donated was for the same reason most rich people donate to politicians - to influence policy.
