Too bad she wasn't elected, she really would have united the people of Arizona.

Make Arizona great again?  Coming off 16 years of republican governors?  How does that work?

How does that work?  You know MAGAtards need a sophomoric slogan or chant or they can't feel like they are a proper member of the cult.

Build that wall!

Lock her up!

lmfao, like elementary school IQ right there.  SAD

Fair enough.

You are delusional my friend.  The Ds keeping the Senate is massive.  And the Rs holding a 2 or 3 majority in the House means that the Ds only need to flip a few moderate Rs to get stuff done.  Remember that the R party is fractured between Trump loving, election deniers and regular Rs.  Plus with the Rs having the House the Ds can blame them for tons of stuff leading up to the 24 election.  Really an excellent outcome for the Ds.

Not really. If a handful Republicans join all democrats to get a nose over 218, it doesn't mean that things will get voted on. Legislation needs majority GOP support or, or at least 40% plus the Speaker, or it will die in committee.

You're right.  I still like the fact that the Ds will be able to blame the Rs for obstructing.  Plus they can point to all the actually pointless Hunter Biden investigations.  Particularly when it's announced that Joe's not running again.

Yeah, we were already great, although trending down as Californians continue to infest us.  Our outgoing governor, Doug Ducey, was fantastic, but he was term limited.

He endorsed Karrin Taylor Robson, a more traditional Republican candidate, who I voted for in the primaries.  But Lake won those, and Ducey while technically endorsing Lake after her primary victory didn't overly stump for Lake that I saw.  I'm confident he would have for Robson.

I think the Reps would have won easily with Robson.  But, here we are. :(

I hadn't heard this, do you have a link?  Is it because Hobbs was a child and refused to debate Lake?

I'll bite.  Pray tell, why would Hunter Biden investigations be actually pointless?

Because 1, they'll likely find nothing we haven't already heard about, and 2, Biden isn't running again so what's the point?

1, you have no objective reason to believe this, and also that's why it's called an "investigation," and 2, Biden is president for two more years which is reason enough, and strongly hinted that he's running again.  Good job, good effort.  :dunno:

Sorry that was a joke.  I don't know if lake used a trumpish nickname or not.

What are you talking about? Texas has a great highway system. I lived in West Texas for about four years and have driven all over this state. The interstate speed limits out there are like 85, which means you can drive at least 90 without getting pulled over.

Other than a deer lease, the beach or dirt roads leading to campgrounds or vacation spots, the only unimproved road I've unintentionally bumbled onto outside of Arizona was one traveling west from Black Mesa State Park in Oklahoma into New Mexico. It looked solid on the map.

It was a cool drive. Even had to shoo cattle out of the way. Here's a pic of that!

Really?    If you took the time to look it up then you know that the factor by which he donated to dems vs repubs is 200X,  i.e. so de minimus as to be basically non-existent.   I am sure that $200K he gave to Liz Cheney definitely is more important than the $40M he gave to dems.   But if it makes you feel good spin that - have at it.

Like I’ve said many times, I realize he gave a crap ton of money to Dems, but all indications are he did it hoping their policies would help his company in the future, just like rich people have done for decades.  I was simply pointing out you are yet another GC liar because your exact words were he donated to Dems “and no one else.”

Oh and speaking of FTX CEOs donating 8 figure amounts in the last election, how do you feel about their co-CEO Ryan Salame donating $20 million to Republicans?  Conspiracy!!!

I can see how you could take a photo from the OK/NM border and infer that half of the major highways in AZ are dirt roads.  And I do appreciate a bourgeoisie from Buttmont, TX sharing his knowledge with a hick from Phoenix.

I'm speaking from experience driving around Arizona, particularly the northern half.

I did run the Lost Dutchman Marathon east of Phoenix years ago, and a huge percentage of the race was on dirt roads.

Looking at a map, so many of what paved roads would look like in Texas cartology standpoint are dirt roads in Arizona, at least it did back in the mid-1990s.

My photo was that dirt road between Oklahoma and New Mexico. I wasn't inferring anything from it. I just remembered I'd taken a picture of it and decided to post it.

Was that personal money or corporate?  The whole drama over FTX was they misappropriated other peoples funds and “corporate” funds with no oversight.

Soros donates the most, nobody is questioning him per se.  It’s the FTX scam in question.

Yea, nothing like that.

I don't recall thousands of brain dead, zombie cultist chanting Hope and Change.  Unlike the hundreds of rallies the Orange Moron has done where they chant like tards for a good piece of it.

Kind of like a cult...lmfao

I don’t think we know the answer to that any more than we know the answer about SBF.   Most people seem to be treating their personal funds and FTX’s as one and the same and I’d agree with that.

Don't even attempt to compare a couple of shirts to the millions of Trump flags and MAGA hats circulating in the backwater red areas of this country.  Not even close.  One was an energized political campaign.  One is a cult led by an orange moron.
