But the prior administration spent more in four years than any other administration has.  Biden has spent far less in 2022.  How can you possibly blame the current administration when they've been in power for less than 2 years and the spending from the prior 4 was so exorbitant?

Spending vs handouts for no return value. When you spend money as the government it does not infuse, in the Keynesian sense it consumes products and services, what Biden did was simply pump money, and inflation is too much money chasing too few goods.

In the Keynesian sense spending is a “good” as it allows money entering the system to deliver productive value, simply handing people money is a different action.

when the government solicits contracts that action results in a commensurate return for money provided.

Right now the economy is something like Chernobyl in the early stages, before they took it too far.

There is some chance to avoid the really bad stuff later. But Biden HAS to be willing to admit he was wrong on some points.  Because right now they are pretending us down a path where things will be in motion that cannot be easily unwound. They have to stop playing with the economy.
