What’s the lefts endgame here?

- destroy the nuclear family

- population reduction

- create division within the population.

- create dependency on government protection.

- control access to information and control the news.

- control education.

- elimination of individual rights to speech, guns, wealth.

- eatablish a Supreme ruling class with a partnership between big government and corporations.

Just the typical quest for wealth and power which has always been the root of all evil since the beginning of mankind.

You talking about that garbage 1619 project revising history to fit the agenda?

Why bother? You know its propaganda.

It’s garbage. They have some putz named Woody Holton who made the Dunmore claim. Emancipation wasn’t the aim of Dunmore’s proclamation, and the revolution was already underway. Woody Holton doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Here he is retreating from the proclamation claim.

Of course they would say this!  What a bunch of revisionist nonsense.  Turns out Joseph McCarthy was right about Communists and their propaganda - he was just 60 years too early.

This Nikole Hannah-Jones chick has a pretty fair complexion. Turns out she is a half racist whitey -

Hannah-Jones was born in Waterloo, Iowa, to father Milton Hannah, who is African-American, and mother Cheryl A. Novotny, who is white and of Czech and English descent.

Seems strange that all the mixed-race grifters screaming white privilege tend to identify as the black part.

It's about as accurate with history as you are with the Russian Revolution:lol:

Yeah that’s not really an analogy I would be making if I were you. It’s always rather unwise to depend on Justincharge for historical conclusions (actually for any conclusions but I digress.)

45 minutes in January 6th, ID requirements, ballot harvesting laws and preventing water from being handed out in polling lines are examples of white supremacy and a threat to democracy. Sh!tlibs want to teach this crap to children and don’t understand why taxpayers have a problem with this.

It is society who identifies most children of one black parent as black.

Interesting source you’ve got there. World Socialist News?

Like Jon Mx, you totally missed the point about the Dunsmore story: it’s not being emphasized in any current history of the Revolution. In many textbooks it’s not even mentioned. If you conducted  a poll of high school students about the American Revolution, 99.99% of them couldn’t tell you who Dunsmore was. And that’s wrong, because slavery was essential to understanding the Revolution. The contrast between the liberty that Patrick Henry, a Virginia slaveholder, demanded for white people but denied to black people, is essential to understanding this nation and our shared history. And that’s what you’re trying to block.

Yes when wanting to understand socialists and marxists I tend to read what they actually say unlike what Fox News or CNN tell me. And what the fuk are you talking about they are emphasizing this in the series. I literally just heard it in episode 1.

Speaking of fact - They proclaim Dunmore as an emancipator in the series. Dunmore was an enslaver which they fail to mention.

You are grossly distorting history and the reality of 1770's.  It is total crap.  There was not a serious threat to outlaw slavery by Britain in the 1770's.  The Dunmore's Proclamation was after the war started and was only offered to get endenured servants (WHITE PEOPLE) and slaves to support Britain in the war.  It is backwards ass logic to twist that into being a main factor leading to the Revolution.  In fact it is retarded, and any historian worth his salt laughs at such a ridiculous suggestion.

You’re distorting what I wrote.

Tell me this: should the conflict between the ideals represented in the Declaration of Independence and the fact that so many of the Founding Fathers owned slaves be explored in history classes? Yes or no?

Ask anyone if our founding fathers owned slaves, and even our under educated masses would near unanimously say yes.   Knowledge about our dark past in slavery is not glossed over.

Not as far as the government is concerned.  Racism has been eradicated as it concerns the law and legislation. Now deal with individuals if they are racist.

This is correct. The systemic racism that once existed has been dealt with.  What we now face is perhaps a more profound struggle, to unwind the damage done by the government for so many years that lingers in the culture of the AA's community.  How to do that, can be puzzling. The self-defeating nature of these problems and the way mediocrity is celebrated cannot be unwound by government action, nor overnight.

It is explored.  The history you wanted cemented in stone via the 1619 project though is a lie.  Florida is not stopping the history of slavery being discussed.  What they are rejecting is advamcing racist theories such as CRT and the 1619 Project.  It is a kin to teaching Holocaust denial.  The people of Florida are well within their rights to reject those kind of hate-filled divisive lies into the classrooms of their children.

‘Socialist’ teacher admits she wants to ‘abolish the police’ amid school curriculum battle with DeSantis

'Taylor sees capitalism as synonymous with racism,' accused a National Review op-ed

The battle over Florida school curriculum is heating up after a professor who was one of the key authors behind the College Board recommended AP African-American Studies (APAAS) course called to "abolish the police" and was accused of being a "socialist."

African American Studies professor at Northwestern University, Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor, laughed off a recent op-ed from the National Review that identified her as one of the leading voices in an AP course that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently rejected and pointed to her left-wing political views.

Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor "is a socialist, and in no way shy about it," the National Review wrote.

The activist professor, who the National Review wrote would be part of the "recommended topic readings" for Florida students, allegedly wants capitalism to be replaced.

"Taylor sees capitalism as synonymous with racism, and she argues that any successful struggle against racism must ultimately replace capitalism as well."

Taylor also tweeted out one quote from the National Review opinion piece, which she jokingly called her "favorite." It was about her reputed fondness for dictators.

"While Taylor rejects Stalin’s authoritarianism, she remains quite fond of Marx and Lenin."

DeSantis has been accused of wanting to "block" the study of "Black Americans" after his administration rejected the College Board’s controversial AP AAS course, which relied heavily on activist authors like Taylor, according to the National Review.

A Boston Globe opinion columnist went even farther, writing that DeSantis’ refusal to admit the radical AP course "carries the stench of white slaveowners."

DeSantis, on the other hand, has argued that the College Board’s course was "historically inaccurate" and designed to advance a woke agenda, instead of actual black history.

"This course on Black history, what’s one of the lessons about? Queer theory," DeSantis said on Jan. 23.

This is a loser for the left. If we had an honest media 90% of the public would be aghast at what is being taught in public schools. It’s also a threat to democracy for the media/left symbiote to declare that elected legislators cannot vote to change state education policy. It also implies that public educators should be insulated from accountability and democratic oversight, operating outside the purview of the very state legislatures that pay them.

Could it be remnants from those policies even if they don't still exist.

Even if we opened up things in the 70s and on to better jobs, home ownership, etc..  there were still decades of wealth head start that can't be corrected.

When the systemic factors were torn down the next step would have been to mimic the success factors of other groups, notably the Asians.

That was not done, instead the culture celebrated mediocrity and violence.
