I came here to post the draft needs changing. Coming in last and getting the 1st pick is actually not an advantage at all. Need to get rid of the snake draft. That way the lower teams have the "advantage" in the next tourney.

Back in my old days..we would draw cards for our FF draft..A-Q.  Everyone picked a random card..then you got to choose what pick u wanted..Ace went first..sometimes took first pick...sometimes las pick for the wrap.

from my point of view, it's a nice advantage (as it should be). Right now there are a clear top 3 in golf with Rahm, Rory and Scottie and it's not really debatable. So there is an advantage off the bat. Once you get down to picks 9-11, you're looking at a huge tier of golfers that are fairly interchangeable all the way through the 2/3 turn. Right now that's where the big advantage is.

This would be another fair way to do it, if we are really having this discussion. But instead of drawing cards, last place from the previous event picks their draft slot and on we go down the line. 

Getting rid of snake and doing worst to first every round would be a bit ridiculous

waiting 23 picks to pick your 2nd guy is a terrible. How is that an advantage?  The whole idea of drafting in reverse order of finish is supposed to help those that finish lower. Snake draft doesn't help those.

It's not that guys like JT, Homa, Morikawa etc can't beat them... but for players who are nearly guaranteed to shoot good scores and greatly help an edex team, those 3 are head and shoulders above. This event I picked Day and Scott... round 2 was then littered with very good golfers all in the same tier. Hovland, Im, Young, Keegan, Theegala, Fitzpatrick etc. guys who might MC but are super talented and capable of going low. 

the real drop off, on paper, doesn't seem to happen until about mid round 3. Meaning those first couple of picks get to benefit first from grabbing one of the studs and then getting 2 more players before the larger drop off.

I am all for giving a boost to people who finished low in the previous event (even though I don't think there is anything that says we have to reward last place teams... meaning every draft could have a new random order)... so if people actually want to get rid of snake and let the last place dude get the fist pick in each round, then sure... whatever. I think it's silly but despite the White Whiner moniker, i'm easy going. (I just like to debate )

Have to remember that this is a season long thing. We need everything we can to keep everyone in it all year.

How about we let the last place team pick his draft spot with snake? so on and so forth
