Biden refers to Maryland's first Black governor by racially-charged term

I think the real problem here is that Biden violently and selfishly gendered this human being.  Words hurt.

This is the correct call.  In 2023, Biden should be assessed a double technical for racism and gender assumption.

To be fair, when Biden diverges from the script the people actually running things have handed him he usually does this.....

That this clown can get elected really dampens my home for this nation.

I’m flattered. Sorry for the delay I haven’t been around.

It was a racist comment. And he’s made them before. I don’t believe Biden is a deliberate racist. He’s an old man from an era that was insensitive to black people. And his comments prove the existence of the institutional racism that we still have in our society. Most of that racism, like Biden’s comment, is not deliberate. But it’s present.

Biden should be taken to task and asked to apologize. He probably won’t be because Democrats, like all politicians, tend to be very hypocritical about this stuff.

if trump said it....how would it be viewed

Considering how the left went off the deep end when Trump said that Baltimore was a rat infested city (which it is), I think it's safe to say that they'd call for his impeachment (again).

Biden has been a racist all his life, just because he can manipulate so many dullards to vote for him it does not remove what he is.

He can get away with it because he has a “D” next to his name, he toe’s the cult line, and says anti-a trump stuff….so the normal “rules” don’t apply to him

Biden has a long history of being very condescending to the blacks and other minorities.

But again the dude is 80 years old, those racial comments things flew in the 60s and 70s when he when in his heydey.

Cancelling people because of things they said in the past is not unusual.....

How old were the statues that were being taken down?

Whenever Biden or Harris for that matter try to be personable or relatable they step in it.  They are not authentic.  Happens all the time with politicians.  The worst example may have been Hillary trying to affect a black vernacular voice, but there may be other examples equally as cringe worthy.

Oh, I see I have referenced only democrats.  I am confident there are republican examples as well.  I mean folks like Bob Dole or Mitt Romney trying to be relatable are a recipe for disaster.

The one true and certain rule is to not pretend to be a tank driver and get photographed with your head sticking up out of it with a tanker's helmet on, a la Michael Dukakis.

Preach.  Usually people can see through the fakeness, but for some reason they don't care with Biden.

For once I agree with you. And I’m a Hillary fan. But that was atrocious.

What do you mean how? I like a lot of the stuff she said and stood for when she ran for President.

My favorite is after the Wikileaks came out showing her assuring the banks and Wall Street that she was on their side, in contrast to what she was saying to the public, she pivoted to racism.  Hot sauce!

Tim likes what she is obviously lying to him about what her stance is.

We all know this Tim dude is a clown but, there can't possibly be an 'actual' centrist on the planet that supports Hilary, correct? That can't be a thing...

For once?  I could swear we have found ourselves in agreement more frequently than that, but perhaps you are correct.  I'll read this not as "for once" but as a statement that generally you do not agree with me.  Hopefully even in disagreement I am never too disagrreable.

I think it is a thing.  For too many politicians have been elevated to hero status, and to a swath of folks with liberal inclination Hillary has risen into that place.   There is very little to like about her to be sure, but a big part is her identity as a female....because despite who you actually are your social identity is often used by liberals to designate value; instead of actual merit or character.

Perhaps he supports her and her campaign that started the whole Russia collusion scam?

I remember when they took Bill off the campaign trail for Hillary when he was getting asked about nafta, while Hillary was pushing for the TPP. She was for it before she was against it.

I surmise that any liberal still views that attempted coup as legit.

But I wonder, does he support her ruthless undermining of women who accused her husband of infidelity?

Say what you will about her, she is cunning and creative, and possesses a real dispassionate pursuit of power.  Her political maneuvers are typically well executed.  In terms of political chicanery she is a total operator..

The answer to your question is I do not.

I generally supported her political views, which are closer to my own than Obama or even Biden: pro business, pro international trade, a rejection of leftism in favor of LBJ/FDR style New Deal politics. I’m for that,

No chance, she's a disgusting vile human being, only a full on liberal could possibly support her idiocy.
