California Is A SHIZZHOLE

I need to read up on this a bit more. I would like to see how liberals are reframing this as being someone elses fault.....

It's not their fault they are homeless. Or druggies.  And it's also not due to liberal policies. It's because of capitalism and the corporations, etc etc etc.

What was the tweet?

Looks like it was deleted. It was just a bunch of zombied out Meth heads wandering around aimlessly in downtown Hollywood.

Nordstrom in SF officially closes. A store for Rich people in one of the richest areas of the world done. They didn’t even fight to keep it. Let’s elect Newsome.

Neiman Marcus is still open in Union Square, I believe. I would guess they may close as well, though. They didn't do well during/after the pandemic.

You would think the local government would do things necessary to keep them. I guess they can’t at this point.

Too busy using all that money on task forces to determine how much in reparations they should pay out to people who are 150+ years removed from slavery and haven't experienced anything but 1st world comfort.   Whose only "struggle" consists of choices between Coke or Coke Zero

Because, y'know, California was part of the deep south and engaged in slavery at the time.

What is pretty funny about this is how Democrats seem to project as if breathing.  Specific factors in cult behaviour are said to include manipulative and authoritarian mind control over members, communal and totalistic organization, aggressive proselytizing, systematic programs of indoctrination, and perpetuation in middle-class communities.

Sound familiar....it should, it defines liberalism today.   Newsome is in a cult, but that his kids might think critically scares him.....

Here is something fun.....he thinks that kids can select their gender, but not their political stances....

"Please, we need to try and keep the place clean just for a few days while my boss is here," said Newsom in a press conference surrounded by a horde of angry homeless people. "Please don't mess it up for me and President Xi. I really want to impress him. Please hold it in for a couple of days. Just clench or something. After that, you may poop to your heart's content. Thank you."

"Please," he added. "If I play my cards right, Xi may even let me become President. This is huge for me."

The streak continues. I have yet to read a funny Babylon Bee article. My theory is that modern day conservatives just do not get satirical humor at all. It’s beyond them which is why their attempts are so terrible.

Perhaps it's not "funny" because there is likely an element of truth to it. :dunno:

SMH. And I truly believe people are stupid enough to vote for him...and I will say, "I told ya so."

https://nypost.com/2023/11/16/news/biden-says-gavin-newsom-could-have-the-job-im-looking-for/#

President Biden openly touted California Gov. Gavin Newsom as a hot contender for the White House — telling world leaders the younger man “could have the job I’m looking for,” referring to his 2024 re-election bid.

“I want to thank him. He’s been one hell of a governor, man,” Biden, who turns 81 next week, said of the 56-year-old fellow Democrat after he warmed up the crowd for him at a reception for leaders at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference.

“Matter of fact, he can be anything he wants — he could have the job I’m looking for,” said Biden, who is the Democratic Party’s front-runner for 2024.

Newsome, if he holds true to his approach in Cali, would be worse than Biden.  And yet still better than Harris

I think things would just become so out of control expensive for many people and businesses it will be nearly impossible to get ahead, or even thrive.

I have previous posts about just the prices of gas if the whole electric car thing is pushed across other states and the taxes associated with paying for those environmental plans. National averages of gas prices are $3.34 California is $5.03 average. That's a HUGE wake up call for a lot of drivers and businesses. And that's just gas. You increase that and nearly every other sector will be more expensive for consumers, since they will pass those prices to us.

And according to people like Timsochet, more trade with China is needed and the meeting with Biden and Newsome was great.

Just can't even understand this thought process that Americans clearly WANT things to get so outrageously expensive and out of control.

I also wonder why the media isn't interested in investigating the answer and telling it to us. I mean, I've been up in here telling us how impressed I am with the solution, but I don't actually know what the solution entails or if SF can stay this way for good. If he put them in a camp or if he put them in cans of dog food, we haven't been told anything.

It is weird.  I can’t find one video of this massive homeless cleanup. Where did they all go?

Minna Street between Seventh and Julia Streets with multiple tents, two months ago. This week cleared. Less than a mile from APEC.

All this leading to question: Where did San Francisco's homeless population go? We found many of them on Willow Street.

  • Thanks 1

Thanks for the post.

And congratulations to San Francisco completely then. The city not only got things looking good and seemed; they also helped a lot of the homeless people in the process. I'm amazed that a problem that seemed intractable just a month ago actually got solved humanely with good effort and cooperation between the different factions of the city, state, and federal government. I'm not exactly sure how or who, but likely a great many people across multiple government and non-profit agencies deserve credit for this.

The only downside is that it's been so much fun beating up SF over the years on this, now I have to stop now because I actually respect the job they're doing to solve the problem. I'll get over it, the honest truth is that I really am rooting for even the bluest of blue cities to get better.

The issue tho is that a lot of them will be back to those same areas.

We deal with it here in Sacramento too. They clear about the camps and everything for one event, and they come right back. Not sure what a long term solution is unfortunately. The Sacramento Sheriff's department did a survey, and they asked 100 homeless people if they'd like help or services, only one said yes.

And yet, it's an issue that our "leaders" still want money for, when tackling homelessness is just a money pit. The services are there, they don't want them.

Electronically tag them.  Drive them to the Badlands.  Let them know their whereabouts are being monitored and if they approach an incorporated city or town again they will be culled.  Have a processing station in the Badlands where they can apply no more often than once every five years and make a case for reinstatement to society.

And I don’t understand your thought process. Are you really suggesting that if we have a trade war with China, as Trump apparently wants, that prices will go down?? Do you understand that tariffs are a tax on the consumer?

The only way to get China to lower their prices is to have more free trade with the smaller countries surrounding them. Obama tried to do it, but both Trump and the leftists killed the idea. Now Biden is trying to do it again and once again Trump is vowing to kill it. This anti-trade attitude is the main reason our prices are higher than they should be.

Says the guy that goes on about poverty. Maybe if those jobs were here we would have less poverty? Then less crime. Right? Nah, let’s make it easier to ship even more jobs away. That should help.
