Apparently Jada Pinkett Smith Has Decided For You That Cleopatra Was Actually Black

Recommended Posts

Current day Egyptians are not the same as the Egyptians from the past just as current day Puerto Ricans or Canadians are not the same as those from the distant past. Just because today’s Egyptians are white does not mean yesterday’s Egyptians are white.

If Cleopatra was white the Egyptians were not. We need only look at the walls of Egypt to see the curly haired brown skinned people. What trace of whites were brown with curly hair? Find them today please.

When you look at the mask of King Tut, I see large full lips that are common among people who are black. If you look at the PROFILE of the Sphinx, nothing can be so clear than that of a black African face. It matches exactly of a Sudanese person. The face slopes forward, the chin juts out. The profile of a European face is commonly straight from top to bottom.

Imagine the error of the white people of the United States claiming to be the physical representation of the natives of this land.

Cleopatra was not white and she was not black. Your assertion that no one looks today like they did 2k years ago is absurd.  The people of Macedonia look roughly the same today as they did in Cleopatra's time.  We literally have art work from that time that show this to be true.  They have browner skin than white people as a whole and even the white people carry the Mediterranean  features lacking the Anglo-Saxon nose.  Cleopatra's father was one of Alexander the greats generals FROM Macedonia. Again. Light skinned brownish people. Like Mediterranean's have looked like for literally ever.

The Egyptians were brown. Not black. Just because they are located in north Africa does not mean their skin color is black. They made a very clear differential between them and Nubians who were in fact black and were always painted that way in their art.  All of this is really easy to find out doing google searches for Macedonians, Ancient Egyptians and Nubians. Also it is likely they would be laughing at our conversation because they were a melting pot that prided themselves on that. They went out of their way to incorporate as many people they could to help the empire.

In the end it comes down to whitewashing and blackwashing. Neither of us get to claim her because she did not look like either of us. White people like to think we were everywhere. Black people think that Nubians are what the Egyptians looked like even though they were a small part of the warrior class

I am so tired of hearing about Jada and Will. They were/are an extremely toxic couple, both narcissistic d-bags who had children that are just as terrible.

I said, if Cleopatra was white the native Egyptians were not. According to the posts I’ve read here and a quick Google search (I have not seen any movie about Cleopatra nor do I know her history) she has Greek origins. Black or white are modern terms. I’m not black like a crayon but I’m black. You are not white like paper but you’re white. My skin is lighter than most Egyptian drawings I’ve seen, but I’m still black.
If a brown Ethiopian is black today then those brown people on the walls of Egypt are also black.

Also, Cleopatra was half Greek.

I have a cousin like that.  His doctor told him he should wear sunscreen even in the winter. Was even told that the sun's reflection off of snow could give him sunburn.

Someone stated that Egyptians were angry that they were being represented as black and petitions etc. It’s as if the white Australians were mad at being represented by the Aborigines in a docudrama.

They should be angry - they aren't black.  It's a deliberate misrepresentation to fool people into thinking black people are responsible for history that isn't theirs.

Also, notice how these types of misrepresentations ALWAYS highlight some great historical figure. We don't ever get them pointing out bad and evil historical figures

They were black. They were black, they were not white, they were black!!!!! They were not white, they were African. Egypt is in Africa. They Egyptians were blaaaaackkkk!!!!

Sphinx Head

African Head

Modern Sudanese Woman's Head

White Head

European Head

Asian Head

Please find me some white people with hair texture and skin color like this!

Open your eyes!

If you don't see an African/black person, you are in serious denial.

Current day Sudanese person (Sudan neighbors Egypt and was formerly joined with Egypt)

She is Eritrean

They are Eritrean (neighbor of Egypt)

Lastly, ALL history belongs to everyone. We are here on this planet temporarily and we take nothing with us. All that we are and do can be shared and appreciated by everyone.
We are simply human beings. It's you all, you colonizers, that want to label and box people in. I'm simply using your definitions to describe these people. You and I are more related genetically than I am to any East African.

No, they're not.

And Colonizers?

GTFO, peenie, and stop drinking the propaganda slurry.  If it wasn't for the colonizers most of those people would still be in mud hits shooting with bows and arrows.  Welcome to civilization and enlightenment: brought to you by The Colonizers™

Colonizers = people from Europe who colonized the Americas, Australia, Africa, the Caribbean and parts of Asia like India and Vietnam. People who act like they invented and discovered everything. When in fact they just distort history and likely would’ve died if not for the natives who helped them thrive and grow. How you gonna discover a place that already had people living there?

Black = People who have recent ancestors from Africa.

"Black Power" sounds and IS just as racist as "White Power", peenie.

Stop trying to take credit for history that isn't yours.  The reason people do that is because they can't find anything to hang their hat on so they have to resort to lies and disinformation to get a "win".

No where did I write black power or white power NOR am I claiming any affiliation or generic link to Egyptians NOR have I claimed to take credit for a history I didn’t create.

JUST BECAUSE WHITE PEOPLE DO THAT EVERY DAY doesn’t mean I am trying to do that by pointing out the Egyptians were:

African and black.

Miss me with all this B.S.

When Ethiopians, Eritreans and Sudanese are labeled something other than black Africans, then you have an argument.
When you show me some Egyptian art that looks like a non-black person, then we’ll have something to discuss.

Peenie: if you're black, you're black. If you are 1/2 white, you're black. If you are more than 1% black, you're black.

Unfortunately, if you are peenie, you're wrong:

Modern Egyptians share 8% of their genome with central Africans, far more than ancient ones, according to the study, published in the journal Nature Communications. The influx of sub-Saharan genes only occurred within the last 1,500 years. This could be attributed to the trans-Saharan slave trade or just from regular, long distance trade between the two regions. Improved mobility on the Nile during this period increased trade with the interior
