Blue Horseshoe 348 Posted May 4, 2023 1 hour ago, JustinCharge said: 47%-43%. the indictments are now total bust and backfire with Trump dominating the republican field and once again ahead of Biden in the general election. This could get ugly. Biden may have to drop out if it gets much worse. https://www.newsmax.com/mclaughlin/bragg-sanders-economy/2023/05/03/id/1118444/ IMHO, Trump screwed up pretty badly at the end of 2020. J6 was indefensible. Do I think Team Blue absolutely do everything possible to incite the situation even further and even worse? Yes. Do I believe the 2020 general cycle was a "free and fair election"? No. With the caveat being I believe both sides cheated as much as humanly possible as much as they could get away with it. The exception being that the Left simply has more resources and assets to exploit ( i.e. the MSM, Big Education, Big Tech, Hollywood, Big Finance, Big Social Media, etc, etc) Conservatives and Republicans just have no margin for error. The radical left will dig into each and every little thing they can to try to "cancel" a political enemy. The problem for Trump before politics is he had an entire lifetime worth of scandal and grifter behavior under his belt. One small benefit he had was since he was a political outsider ( but not an outsider from a social status/wealth level) was he had no previous political track record to hammer him with all the time. Biden was hurt by this, he had over four decades of his incompetence and lies to be used against him. Conservatives and Republicans simply need a candidate that can't be "cancelled" Someone mostly clean from an optics standpoint. That way the only thing that remains is that Team Blue HQ just hates half the country and clearly wants us dead. Make it simple. Make it plain. All Trump had to do was stay silent, accept that if he believed he was cheated out of the election, that he should marshal his forces and resources quietly and plan for a 2024 run, then retake the White House, then say everything he wants during his 2nd term in office. Say absolutely everything. Go after absolutely everyone he believed was part of cheating in 2020. Without the weight of thinking about "reeelection" His greatest strength is just plainly saying exactly what's on his mind, But it's also his greatest weakness. That being said, it should be noted that the Biden regime, Susan Rice, Blinken, Psaki, Jill Biden, Ron Klain, the Squad, AOC, Warren, Sanders, Obama, the Clintons, etc, etc, all of them screwed up so badly that they made Trump into a legitimate POTUS contender again. How pathetic is that? How terrible and incompetent do you have to be as a political Party to let Trump rise from the ashes again? How is that even possible? How do you have a guy with J6 on his jacket as a legitimate contender? I mean I don't want Trump back, but he looks spry and functional, even with his exhausting behavior, against what's left of Joe Biden. I mean Biden looks completely lost and confused all the time. He slurs his words, can't walk up stairs, he can't remember where he is and what he's supposed to do. The people did not elect a "proxy POTUS" They did not elect his "handlers" to run the country. I don't want Trump back. I want him gone period. I don't want Biden back. I want him gone period. Also Harris. Just please jettison the "caricature" bizarre clown show zoo time versions of elected officials. We don't need another MTG and Boebert. We also don't need another Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsom and Maxine Waters. I'd be happy with Nikki Haley Vs Katie Porter. Both would be functional rational forward thinking Presidents. They would sound like real adults with actual cognitive agency. What no one is talking about is the high level military apparatus in this country is going to get tired of all this crap very soon. Trump, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris are all idiots - think about the total clown show going on here. It's going to drag America into another war and get a bunch of good young soldiers killed. So what has recorded human history told us about situations like this? That circumstances this bad often end up in a pure military coup. Who wants to deal with the grifter loudmouth routine of Trump anymore? I don't. Who wants to deal with the human sock puppet that looks like he's about to cry because he can't find his egg salad sandwich in Biden? I don't. I'm a hard line Conservative and I would not enjoy a Trump win in 2024. It would only be better than the identity politics fueled clown show that is the Obama/Biden/Harris/Rice regime. Better as in it would hypothetically be better to be some average person who was hit by a car on the street rather than being thrown into a vat of acid like the Joker. If I'll give Trump credit for at least one thing, it's that the radical left's pure hate for him has exposed their tyrannical agenda and how badly they want to hunt down America's kids while setting the Constitution on fire. I don't want Trump back, but Team Blue's unhinged response to him is completely indefensible on all levels. Nothing justifies the madness inflicted on working class America these past 3 years. Blue Horseshoe 348 Posted May 4, 2023 38 minutes ago, Mike Honcho said: Trump is the politician of the decade. I see Donald Trump, strictly evaluated as a politician, as "useful" but not "valuable" Trump, to his credit, said a lot of things that many working class Americans felt but had no voice and platform to speak out. Lots of people, and not just Black America, felt left behind and marginalized and saw little hope for the future. More poor white rural Christian Americans are voting than ever before. And that's a good thing. No matter who they vote for in any election. They've mobilized and now their needs and concerns have to be addressed. Trump also went after the activist complicit radical left leaning MSM. And he's right in that they are all bought and paid for and just shills for the DNC. Trump also provides a viable "threat" to our foreign enemies. Trump might be a grifter and a narcissist, but he doesn't look like a total pushover like Biden. In this regard - Trump is "useful' on a political level. But he's not "valuable" as a professional politician and leader. Because, despite the benefit of his attacking style against the radical left and their unhinged BS and clown show behavior, he also sees the entire world as nails to be hammered. You can't just attack everything and do it all the time. It's exhausting and it wears the people down. Also it creates ammo to "justify" the vicious gutting of the American working class by Team Blue these past few years. Donald Trump is the Charles Haley of politics. Good God will he cause chaos and disruption at the line of scrimmage. Your enemies will suffer once the bull is left in that china shop. The problem for Haley was he was also completely insane in his own lockerroom. It was just too much for his teammates and coaches and owner. What made him a pure terror on game day also made him a psychopath when there was no running back or quarterback to drive into the ground. Trump had a purpose and he served it. He helped to expose Team Blue's vision of the future - Which includes hunting down all our children and using them as cannon fodder for their pathetic woke agenda. So hopefully he moves on. And America can move on from both him and Biden. No forgiveness though. What the radical left did these past few years should never ever be forgiven. Just because I want Trump to get out politics doesn't create blank check for all the idiotic crap thrown at working class America by the DNC. But let's just find someone who can be "valuable" for the American people. Someone who can make their day to day lives better and help provide material needs so we can have a functioning society. Katie Porter is the only Democrat that I think could be a good modern day President. So while it could be a Democrat, I'd say odds are that it won't be one. I'd be perfectly fine with Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley taking 2024. I don't agree with each and every thing De Santis is doing, but at least he's standing up and fighting. He's taking on the radical left head on.
