Here's the thing. If Biden had said "We've got a lot of problems in this country. Crime is rampant in our cities, young black males are killing other young black males at an alarming rate, white supremacists are still a threat...etc..., it would be different. That would be a recognition that while white supremacy is a part of the wide swath of problems in this country, it is merely one element. 

Therein lies the problem. Biden and the democratic party are laser focused on divisive, identity politics and not actually tackling that wide swath of problems. And, that's why they're despised by so many people...myself included.
