Really never cared much about the show accept for Vanna when she was younger was worth a watch. I think he is a good choice though.

I don't know why they don't just let Vanna do it, pretty sure she's done it before on special occasion.  I mean her job has been pointless for decades.

And the money they both made.  Spend six weeks to film an entire year and get paid that type of cash.

Bad choice.  Pat Sajak comes off as wholesome and genuine.  Ryan Seacrest comes off as Hollywood sheen and fake.

To me, you want to hire a trusted newscaster, TV or radio.  Doesnt need to be a household name.  Someone that is taken serious by their voice / appearance.  In fact, that's where they found Sajak.  Sajak was a disc jockey turned weather reporter / part time anchor in Los Angeles before being hired to do Wheel of Fortune.   Sajak comes off as a newsguy personality on Wheel.   Of course you want to avoid politics so no national news anchors.  grab a local one.
