Just remember that when our lefty brethren in here scream, "OMG!  FASCISM!!" as their side of the aisle moves closer and closer every election to it's kissing cousin in Marxism/Communism.  They do it because they don't want you to focus on the real problem with how far left they're actually moving.  Neither are good, of course, but as Konstantin says, if you have a problem with fascism you should be as equally or more outraged at Communism because it's far, far worse.

If you ask me, we are closer to communism than fascism or socialism. The govt is trying to control everything; access to electricity, power, natural gas (they are coming for your stoves next). Property owned by large corporations or govt owned. The way we are going, citizens do not share equally in economic resources. 

They parade it as socialism, but in socialism citizens own things equally That's not how it will work for us. The rich will stay rich and get richer, and then you will have the poor/working class waiting to get their weekly distribution of bread, eggs, or water.

The left's use of those terms are so absurd they have become meaningless.   Government is best understood when you group all those terms (communism, fascism, dictatorship, ect.) and treat them as the same.  They all end up with authoritarian rules where the rulers are superior and the citizens are mere servants with no protected rights.  That is why the American experiment was so revolutionary and copied by other people around the word, we put the people rights above those of government and government was our servant.

Unfortunately over the years, the authoritarian bastards have chipped away and has flipped that, especially among democrats and leftists.   In the eyes of mainstream Democrats, people must bow down to government experts and in fact Democrats love to imprison or take aways rights from people for simply questioning the logic of the authoritarian bastard's experts.  

I would love Democrats to once again become freedom loving citizens who appreciates individual rights which made this country great and unique, such as the freedom of speech, the right to defend oneself, the right from unreasonable searches, the right of equal treatment under the law, the right to property.  

But unfortunately the idiots in the Democrat Party have all been brainwashed and no longer believe in any of those freedoms.  They are all authoritarian bastards who want to restrict free speech (and I don't mean state sponsored speech like 'academic freedom' which only authoditarian idiots argue for when it suits them), restrict property rights, eliminate your ability to defend yourself, allow government to search you, treat people according to theor race and politics.

Needless to say, I am not a fan of authoritarian bastards.

Unless the citizens of this country come to understand the level of corruption and completely reject this authoritarian path we are traveling down, we are doomed to lose our freedoms and rights enumerated in our crumbling Constitution.
