Daily Wire's new comedy about transgender athletes "Lady Ballers"

The trailer looks pretty good and I imagine the jokes write themselves in this comedy landmine but they were unsuccessful in getting it distributed to movie theaters in today's climate which is telling.

I've not seen it as its only available on DailyWire Plus.

It was entertaining because at the time, the concept of men dressing like women was absurd and ridiculous and the premise alone got you halfway to a good comedy. Not now, now we're expected to take these "brave and beautiful" people seriously rather than laugh at them.

Siaka Massaquoi, first vice chair of the L.A. County Republican Party, was arrested Thursday by FBI agents at Hollywood Burbank Airport, the agency confirmed. Massaquoi was reportedly returning with his wife from Nashville, where the couple attended the premiere of the Daily Wire’s new film “Lady Ballers,” a controversial comedy mocking transgender athletes, according to Red State, a conservative news media outlet for which Massaquoi is a columnist.

Massaquoi was taken into custody on misdemeanor charges including trespassing, disorderly conduct and parading or demonstrating in a Capitol building, and he was held in jail overnight and released on a $1,000 bond Friday, Red State reported. He appeared in court on Friday, according to FBI spokesperson Laura Eimiller.

He was not in the building.  He was holding the door open for people leaving.   He may have crossed the threshold.   They are misdemeanors and trumped up ones at that.  Ridiculous.

The answer is no, I’m not. More than 10,000 people were arrested in relation to those riots and I didn’t call even one of them the unfair victim of an authoritarian government’s chilling attempt to silence free speech.
