After the royals go 4-2 against the Yankmees and dudgers will people finally start giving them their due?

How could they go 4-2 when they had the Yankees for four games and the Dodgers for three?

This dude is just phenomenal.   When they were playing the yanks the entire team was on the rail watching his AB's.  This is a historic time to be a kc fan.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackles Wanya Morris and Chukwuebuka Godrick were arrested in Kansas on Thursday for misdemeanor marijuana possession charges. Possession of marijuana is illegal in Kansas.

According to a release from the NFL and reports from the Johnson County Sheriff, both were arrested just before midnight on Thursday, May 16. Morris, 23, and Godrick, 23, were released from the Johnson County Detention Center around 4 p.m. on Friday after posting a $2,500 bond.

LOL at the video, not Judge getting hurt...

Though being happy that someone got hurt will come back sometime and bite you in the ass...

I wasn't celebrating the fact someone got hurt, that's awful.  Just heard the news, searched twitter for a video to post the news and that was one of the first ones that popped up.  I'm assuming that's maybe a Yankees fan that felt that way after hearing the news.

Anyone watching the CWS or cares who wins? My son is up on Omaha going to the game tonight.   He texted me the atmosphere is amazing (I've never been).  He's a HS junior and he's with a friend who just graduated and is headed to Florida in the fall through the army.   Go gators!

Our starting pitching is overall doing extremely well.   Bullpen sucks and nobody can hit.

Summer is so much better when you wake up anticipating a ballgame.  I'm headed to the K tomorrow for Bo Jackson's team HOF induction ceremony.   His career was too short to really rack up the stats, but definitely one of the premiere athletes of our time.

I live 2 hrs 45 minutes from Kansas City and been a Royals fan since I was a little kid. If you dislike an occasional post when my favorite team does well, that's your problem. I posted about the Brewers too. In the MLB 2024 thread.

Funny I was actually coming here to post about the Mets.  Rays fan clearly but decent amount of Mets fans in the family. Poor decisions regarding Scherzer and Verlander specifically, but they made the right move dealing those guys, Canha, Pham, etc last year to build up the farm system. A lot of NY media were laughing at the notion that Mets fans could be excited for THIS season as well as the future.

I disagreed, which looked bad to start the year, but the team is coming around to closer to what I thought they could be.

Lindor, Nimmo, Alonso, Alvarez and a healthy Marte is a nice start on offense. Many of these guys didnt hit at all in May but had much better Junes. Combined with the arrival of JD Martinez, sending Brett Baty down and bringing up Mark Vientos and getting nice offensive contribution from defensive minded Harrison Bader and this feels like an offense that can keep the Mets in a lot of games going forward.  Jeff McNeil needs to go.

Severino and Manaea have not been bad. The team has no ace though. Even Senga would be better as a #2.... but right now the hope to get him back is another addition that can help tremendously.

Bullpen has been so-so. Diaz will ultimately be okay. Ottavino is good enough. Reid-Foley was pitching very well before injury.

Fully believe they can be a playoff team after settling in as a team that can win 6 of every 10 games or so.

Quick bit of worthless trivia, but the Brewers are only the 2nd team ever to hit 5 grand slams in 8 games, along with the 2020 Padres.  POW

Tigers need to reset the rebuild (again). Trade Flaherty and Skubal for hopefully a good haul of MLB-ready players and top prospects.   Flaherty a rental but still a couple more years of team control on Skubal. Tigers arent gonna be contenders in that timeframe and certainly not gonna pay Skubal what he is gonna get. I believe Boros is his agent.
