Holy fock, they actually did it.  Congrats to the Tigers fasns, and all the other fans who are going to play in October.  This works out well for the Royals, rest your star pitchers and gear up for a Game 1 Lugo, Game 2 Ragans and game 3 wacha series against whoever, just happy we're in.

I paid $635 for four lower level tix left field area for ALDS game #1 at home.  Let's go get two so I can get back to the K for some playoff baseball

Also, Quartraro will likely get manager of the year, but I think the real credit goes to J.J. Picollo (started his career as a scout for the Braves in '99 I heard listening on the radio today).  Garrett Hampson and Adam Frazier were just meh, but getting Ragans last year and then Wacha and Lugo this year completely turned this team around.  Then the moves at the break (DeJong, Erceg) to give them a little bump, then signing Pham and Gurriel after Vinnie went down to keep them in the race is not lost on the fanbase.  It's so different than what I've been used to experiencing as a Royals fan in all my life.  I've never been so tuned in to other scores because of the position we were in from basically the all-star break.

I can't imagine them doing anything different.  Salvy will get days off for sure.  No way you see our top three starters.  I'd guess Alec Marsh makes a start and then someone we wouldn't expect, like Carlos Hernandez.

 

also, them losing and then waiting in the clubhouse to watch the other game and then celebrate is awesome

What a crazy first game of the double-header.   Mets manage 3 hits and no runs through 7, score 8 runs combined in the 8th and 9th to take a one run lead going into the bottom of the ninth.

As a Brewer fan, I want them to lose and come to Milwaukee.  Brewers went 5-1 against them this year and have won something like 20 out of last 24 games against NYM at home.

Of course, now that I've said that outloud, it will probably happen and the Crew will be eliminated in two.

Isn’t it like that.  As a Padre fan I thought I wanted to play the braves but now fried and Lopez potentially is worrisome to me. 
 

mets don’t scare me though at all either. They don’t have the SP
