Also, fock the draft lottery. And let's build a brand new shiny stadium for this crappy team Holy fock, they actually did it. Congrats to the Tigers fasns, and all the other fans who are going to play in October. This works out well for the Royals, rest your star pitchers and gear up for a Game 1 Lugo, Game 2 Ragans and game 3 wacha series against whoever, just happy we're in. I paid $635 for four lower level tix left field area for ALDS game #1 at home. Let's go get two so I can get back to the K for some playoff baseball
posty 2,612 Posted September 28, 2024 So it would be nice for the Royals to rest everyone the next two games… TIA
cmh6476 1,010 Posted September 28, 2024 Also, Quartraro will likely get manager of the year, but I think the real credit goes to J.J. Picollo (started his career as a scout for the Braves in '99 I heard listening on the radio today). Garrett Hampson and Adam Frazier were just meh, but getting Ragans last year and then Wacha and Lugo this year completely turned this team around. Then the moves at the break (DeJong, Erceg) to give them a little bump, then signing Pham and Gurriel after Vinnie went down to keep them in the race is not lost on the fanbase. It's so different than what I've been used to experiencing as a Royals fan in all my life. I've never been so tuned in to other scores because of the position we were in from basically the all-star break.

Salvy will get days off for sure. No way you see our top three starters. I'd guess Alec Marsh makes a start and then someone we wouldn't expect, like Carlos Hernandez. also, them losing and then waiting in the clubhouse to watch the other game and then celebrate is awesome
cmh6476 1,010 Posted September 28, 2024 @Pimpadeaux, @Mookz ya'll want to bet some playoff gear on a series, depending on who we play? I was looking through the closet and I'm lacking some long-sleeve royals stuff...

Mike Honcho 5,096 Posted September 30, 2024 What a crazy first game of the double-header. Mets manage 3 hits and no runs through 7, score 8 runs combined in the 8th and 9th to take a one run lead going into the bottom of the ninth.

RaiderHaters Revenge 4,237 Posted September 30, 2024 Grats Mets, now here is the question, do you want to win, eliminate ATL and fly to SD on the red eye to face Cease, King and Musgrove, or lose and fly to Milwaukee to face.....

As a Brewer fan, I want them to lose and come to Milwaukee. Brewers went 5-1 against them this year and have won something like 20 out of last 24 games against NYM at home. Of course, now that I've said that outloud, it will probably happen and the Crew will be eliminated in two.
