This economy is so bad

In what way is Trump's pre-covid economy better than the current one?

Well read up one post for starters.  That’s a pretty important “thing”

You are pretending COVID was not the reason for the job losses, and then the simple and natural recovery for their restoration.  Again, Pelosi tried this lie, CNN caught it and actually called it out, then she doubled-down on the lie and accused the interviewer of "carry water for Trump" because you see....as Behar noted on the view, you should lie for Biden to avoid Trump.  Which is what you are doing.

Covid didn't start until 2020.  Is this a lie?

2017 - 2019 Trump jobs: 6.4M

2013- 2016 Obama jobs: 8M

Biden jobs since we recovered all the covid jobs (2 years): 6.4M

Are these lies?

You called me a liar, point out the lie or go hit yourself in the head with a hammer.

The only thing that was better under Trump was inflation.

And that was 80% caused by Trump.  Zero interest rates.  Destroyed supply chains.  $2.7T spent on covid and a $8T increase to the debt.

You can see unemployment skyrocket the second Biden took office.

Lucky for Trump the average person only associates the current times with the current president.  Not went on before to actually cause the issue the current president is facing.

Inflation has been brought under control.  And wages the past two years have outpaced inflation.

In fact we're very close to real wages being flat since 2021, truly remarkable given the inflation bomb Trump left for Biden.

That you do not form your own opinions from information.....but instead wait to be told what to think.  I surmise this will create a rift between our understanding that you cannot bridge.....

Just so I'm clear.  The article YOU linked to support your ridiculous opinion doesn't have a single piece of information supporting your argument?  The argument you linked as support for your stupid opinion?  And if it does, just point the facts out to me, the facts somehow helped you draw a conclusion yet you won't put anything forward to support your pathetic opinion from the article YOU linked to support said pathetic opinion.

Very very bad look for you boyo.

Why was Trump's pre-covid job additions so anemic compared to Obama's preceding four years?

And boyo, the economy was grinding to a halt in 2019 even before covid.  The record string of job gains was lost, GDP was pathetic, and the Fed had to lower rates from their already near zero level.

Trump basically took a great economy Obama left him and proceeded to make it worse each subsequent year.

Again, COVID WAS 2020.  How are you able to use a computer and not know when covid was.

2017 - 2019 Trump jobs: 6.4M

2014- 2016 Obama jobs: 8M

Biden jobs since we recovered all the covid jobs (2 years): 6.4M

Covid job losses and respective gains have been excluded.  The Biden job numbers are AFTER the covid jobs were recovered.

Biden jobs full term: 15M, Biden jobs removing jobs lost and regained during covid: 6.4M

What am I lying about?

Economy was thriving, the situation was great....and people remember, and they will vote that criminal Biden out of office, the stage is set....once we can get back to good policy we will have to see how long it will take to unfock the damage done, but I have hope.

You’re not very smart to keep bringing up Covid in an argument where the data ends in 2019

Dude you're becoming unhinged.  GB destroyed you with facts and you posting the same drivel over and over again is making you look worse than I made you look.

There are NO covid job losses in the years for Trump that GB referenced.  The biden jobs GB referenced are AFTER the jobs Trump lost due to covid have been recovered?

Are you having a stroke?

You might think so, and there might be a few economists that agree with you, but I trust the ones who have done the research

No, CNN destroyed the lackluster attempt on the part of Gutter to trot out the lie that Pelosi herself could not defend.  But it might make it easier for you to pretend things were better, and for the affluent Biden has been rather friendly....its the majority of average people he has focked over....

By the end of 2019, payroll employment in the United States had been growing steadily for over 9 years, marking the longest recovery and expansion in CES history.

Obama was president for 6 of those years

So then....Trump did not ruin the good thing he inherited, like Biden did?  Trump made good decisions, that resulted in a good economy?  Unlike Biden?  Maybe.....I will have to ponder this point a little further.

OK so you admit that Trump inherited a good economy, that's a start.  OK nice job.

And he didn't fock it up for a few years, we agree on that.  But his 2019 job numbers were the lowest in 8 years.  We started to see a little slowing right before covid.

Then the economy went to sh1t.

You think Biden inherited a good economy?

The economy was losing jobs when Biden was sworn in.

He turned that around, and then some, adding more jobs post covid recovery than Trump added pre covid.

Interesting though that you admit Trump inherited a good economy and didn't fock it up, as opposed to creating a great economy on his own, which is laughable.

So wait, the price of groceries didn’t increase by 30 pct? Or gas at 50 pct? It says so on the receipt, but our crack economic team headed up by Gutterboy says different. I don’t know what to believe.

Biden inherited a rather good economy, the economy was generally good under Trump, except for the Covid-induced recession

Now, if you are all on on Biden, and consuming liberal media you might have the misperception that the economy was worse, but as with the standard lie from Biden along these lines, the truth ends up not being what you presume.

His handling of a COVID-induced economy has no precedent, but  his mismanagement of inflation was avoidable, and his lying about it really stands out.

It sucks.  Gov Phildo is terrible.  Between Trump getting rid of my property tax deduction and the locals jacking up my bills every year, I'm moving once my son graduates HS.

I gotta say, NJ is really pushing people out. Taxes on homeowners here are bad, but not near as bad in NJ.

I think it's hilarious how MAGAturds desperately pivot to the decline of certain crapass restaurant chains - Denny's, Outback Steakhouse, KFC - as a means to deflect from all the positive indicators that experts use to measure the economy, crazy things such as employment, the GDP, CPI, job growth, the stock market, wages and other things. Never mind that restaurants in 2019 were dropping like flies under Clownzo because of his own actions, such as that big tariff on China.

But here's another way to view these restaurant closures: Folks are doing so much better these days that they don't have to eat at sh!tty restaurants!

I remember a giant tax cut for wealthy and corporations and a few peanuts for the middle/lower class.  I don't remember a black tax cut.

RLLD doesn't even understand the idea that if Trump had one in 2020; the number of jobs he "created" post COVID would be a YUUUUUGE talking point amongst lick spittles like him.

I end up going to these chains. Kids like them and I know what the food is all about, I have eaten in many top end places. But you know what these places get right on the reg? The beer is always ice cold and at a reasonable price. I can’t say that for many independent places. They know what they are doing with that. Otherwise I don’t think I’d go. And that Blue Chess iceberg wedge at outback is awesome.
