a lot of the stuff in the video didn't seem too strange. the combinations maybe more so. 

I was thinking more along the lines of someone saying they like to put peanut butter on their pizza, or ground coffee or something 

 

slightly different but one of the things that will annoy me about pizza is topping overload. when places specialty pies are just too heavily loaded with shit. place we ordered from recently we got a buffalo chicken pie and there was so much buffalo sauce, ranch and chicken that the pie itself was a focking mess. Would have much rather had a plain pie and an order of wings. Same with a meat lovers. I'm sure some people love just a huge pile of toppings but I need a balance for it to be enjoyable.

these days, thai pizza is not very exotic... so peanut butter is not sounding too crazy. before CPK, absolutely.

Some of those chain restaurant pepperoni lovers pizza are overkill and not good, so get ya. Specially when the use cheap pepperoni like Pizza Hut.

im not even talking about chain places. can't remember the last time I ordered from one. I did actually used to like pizza hut though. It's not a snob thing... i've discussed in other pizza threads that I enjoy a good red baron... there's just too many excellent pizza places in my area.

unfortunately sometimes you try a new spot or even a place you're familiar with and their specialty pies are just too damn heavy. if i wanted a bacon cheeseburger I would have gone somewhere else.

we were just out of town and the daughter stayed home and had friends over.  they ordered from a mid tier local chain.... 14" large cheese pizza was $29.00.  craziness right now.
