edjr 6,161 Posted February 27 27 years since I started working in IT. After 20+ years of an over hour commute (each way) Sure, I did work from home 60% of the time the past 4 years. Have my 1st ever job where I can go home for lunch, and work from home if needed. Take the pup for a walk, eat, take a sh1t and back to work. Drop the boy off at school and pick him up. edjr 6,161 Posted February 27 I worked my arse off the 1st couple years when I was WFH, praying my hard work would be noticed and I would be able to keep WFH. I got a promotion and was paid way more than I should have been making. I still decided working near home was better, even at less pay. WFH was always going to end. Was going to go from 3 days a week to 2 or 1.
MLCKAA 477 Posted February 27 WFH since 2007. Doubt I could transition back to an office environment unless it was my office for my own business.

Well idk if I need to take it that far. But yeah we will all just become total home bodies. Watch your netflix, get your amazon, and WFH. No need to go or do anything. Hell who needs to go see grama when there is facetime? Maybe no schools. All virtual learning.

You've undoubtedly bought insurance from someone, and they most likely make a sh!t ton more money than you, work from wherever they please, have unlimited vacation and sick days, don't have some soul-sucking jerk boss and work 20-25 hours a week and make what doctors and lawyers do without going to medical or law school, respectively. It indeed does happen , people that I know that are now stay home workers since covid, have very little need for service business, and they will say things like, I’m not leaving the house why even shower. Covid was a text , and it worked and I’m someways is still doing so. It wont matter who’s the president, taking down America is on the agenda of the government of this country, and the world. Remember this great standout country, it’s not mentioned in the Bible, many countries are, not this one. Already seeing the lazy arses of this world taken place, working from home is jus the final piece to total lazy arses.
