Nothing greater than being able to go home for lunch

Recommended Posts

27 years since I started working in IT.

After 20+ years of an over hour commute (each way)

Sure, I did work from home 60% of the time the past 4 years.

Have my 1st ever job where I can go home for lunch, and work from home if needed.

Take the pup for a walk, eat, take a sh1t and back to work.

Drop the boy off at school and pick him up.

I'm not sure when it happened, but I have really lost the urge. :(

Been working from home for over a decade.  Would never go back to an office.

I have to go in one day a week which isn't bad. Any more than that I'm looking for a new remote job.

I worked my arse off the 1st couple years when I was WFH, praying my hard work would be noticed and I would be able to keep WFH.

I got a promotion and was paid way more than I should have been making.  I still decided working near home was better, even at less pay.

WFH was always going to end. Was going to go from 3 days a week to 2 or 1.

WFH since 2007.  Doubt I could transition back to an office environment unless it was my office for my own business.

Makes for a lazy America.  That’s exactly what the government wants,  lazy high people, so they can’t defend when the enemy the government attack’s.

That is a nice setup, especially having a dog.

Over an hour commute each way?  Puke.

I can actually sort of agree with this.  Well idk if I need to take it that far.  But yeah we will all just become total home bodies.  Watch your netflix, get your amazon, and WFH.  No need to go or do anything.  Hell who needs to go see grama when there is facetime?  Maybe no schools.  All virtual learning.

Drive 20 minutes to train. Potentially wait 5 to 20 minutes for late train. 35 minute train ride. 15 to 30 minute subway ride, then 10 minute walk

36.2 (no joke just looked it up) miles of driving. but 90+ minutes if I drove. Not to mention the cost.

Now I literally have a 6 min commute

Unless you come home knowing that Peefoamosexual is impatiently waiting in the basement for his happy-face chicken nuggets, fruit cup, Funyuns and juice box.

I can't think of a better example of non-essential than an insurance salesman.

Lol.  The level of obsession you have rivals your rivals.  Maybe surpasses.

Having the worst poster of all time live rent free certainly is a fail.

I do a lot more than that, butter cup.

You've undoubtedly bought insurance from someone, and they most likely make a sh!t ton more money than you, work from wherever they please, have unlimited vacation and sick days, don't have some soul-sucking jerk boss and work 20-25 hours a week and make what doctors and lawyers do without going to medical or law school, respectively.

The joke is on you, boyo.

It indeed does happen , people that I know that are now stay home workers since covid, have very little need for service business, and they will say things like, I’m not leaving the house why even shower.   Covid was a text , and it worked  and I’m someways is still doing so.

It wont matter who’s the president, taking down America is on the agenda of the government of this country, and the world.

Remember this great standout country, it’s  not mentioned in the Bible, many countries are, not this one.

Already seeing the lazy arses of this world taken place, working from home is jus the final piece to total lazy arses.
