Its honestly not that huge of a loss for the Bills.  Diggs no showed 2nd half of season and in the playoffs.  Big drop in playoffs.  Hes 30.  Hes cranky.  

The problem is with that bad extention and now eating dead cap.  Also with where they pick.  They cant trade far enough up for one of the top 3 WRs.  

They should have planned for Diggs departure more/sooner.

I hate the move for the Texans. You should never trade for older malcontent wr's. 

They have 2 2nds this year, just take a wr there and save the 2 2nds next year and build a cheap team through the draft.

Yeah, I mean Diggs and his experience could be bettert than a rookie 2nd rounder but for how long?  

Be interesting to see how Diggs reacts to sharing so.many taregts.  

I think he will be on decent behavior especially this coming year.  To me hes basically a slot WR these days.

knucklehead guys on the radio up here were saying how it was a steal, and why havent the Pats gone for him, or Fields. I was like, I have no interest in a 30 yr old malcontent wr or a known bad qb.

Good trade for both teams. Diggs has another year or two of being above average. 

As long as Diggs doesn’t melt down because he is delusional and thinks he’s still a clear cut 1.

I like the move honestly, the cap hit sucks though, can't lie about that.

 

Beane just playing chess though, 1 of 3 things happens now with the WR room:

1. Bills trade for a proven stud (Aikuk, Higgins, I think JJ is a pipe dream.)

2. Bills trade up into the top 10 for Nabers or Odunze.

3. (most likely scenario) Bills trade up a little in the first and get BTJ or maybe trade up in the second and maybe grab 2 WRs (Worthy, Legette, McConkey) - some sort of combo of that group.

1. Dont think number 1 is very likely with their cap.  But who knows.  

2. I dont believe they can get up that far unless they basically trade their draft

3. I agree most likely.  I like the idea of double dipping without a trade up.  

I think Beane is wildly overrated by the fans.
