Biden just now: “I might not debate as well as I used to, I may not walk as well as I used to, but I tell the truth.”

Very good speech. Hopefully quiets some people down. He’s not quitting so we gotta back him and hope for the best. Let’s go Joe!

No it's over Johnny.

If he's the guy, we're focked.

He said this last night.  He doesn't understand what a tariff is.  Neither do most of the magas here, shockingly.

Ooh you got me GB.  Saying "he doesn't understand what a tariff is" is SOOOO different than saying "he doesn't know how tatiffs work.".

Are you drunk?  I don't remember you being this stupid, maybe I was wrong.

Trump doesn't understand what a tariff is, he doesn't understand how they work, all of it.  And he said as much when he said that the country pays the tariff, which is false.

Get it?

Hey I pretty much made the same prediction. I was wrong, what can I say? Feel free to rip me as well.

You aren't a POS like that Dozer guy is.  As much as you frustrate me sometimes, I appreciate your input on these boards.

Does cutting corp taxes get passed down to the consumer too?

Yes, it does.

If corporations are spending more in taxes, they increase their prices to their customers to make up for that; they don't increase wages as quickly, their share holders don't get as much, and their earnings aren't as high, they do what they can to avoid those taxes. Higher corporate taxes very rarely do what people think they will do which is stick it "to the man" but it really hurts the workers and consumers.

Cut those taxes and they may be more likely to increase wages, lower prices, and increase economic activity.

Well the data shows that reduced corp taxes during the trump years resulted in higher exec pay and increased EPS, but not reduced prices on the goods the sell, so no, it doesn't.

Bump it.  I don't recall the exchange.

You said there were a number of liberals on here who loved Joe Biden. I asked you to name them and you disappeared for a while. TimHauck bumped it for you as well in that same thread.

Do you stand by your lie still? Or would you care to amend your bullsh!t accusation?  Now, keep in mind....everyone saw this exchange, so if you stand by the lie....people might think you are a liar....

Strike asked for PMs. I'm honoring his request after this post. Will you?

And "Oh noes!!!" a bunch of people I don't know who already don't like me might like me even less. Whatever will I do? Maybe I'll do like you and find some YouTube videos to cope.

Correct.  Raising taxed on corporations is always passed along to the people.  Its a false flag.  Democrats use the notion to pretend the successful are evil, and we should hate them for it.

What the left wing and MSM did is LITERAL propaganda.  You know, the same stuff that we criticize Russia, Cuba, China and a whole host of other countries for.  They are literal propaganda outfits for the Democrat Party, like Pravda was for the USSR.  They aren't interested in truth and being the 4th wall in protecting the citizens. They are complicit and in bed with government.

Just want it to be evident, for all who observed the exchange, you stand firmly behind your disproven assertion.  I think knowing you are a liar is important when considering your posts.

If you believe what he said, the only reason Biden ran was because of misquoted articles about Charlottesville.  The Dems are in this mess now because of a lie the m edia made up 4 years ago.  Because of Fake News.

A Biden devotee is someone who would make the argument that Trump told a few more lies than Biden and that somehow is meaningful in the face of what we all witnessed last night.

Hey guys, now that we're forced to report how bad Biden is, NOW is the time to step back and start being balanced in our reporting.  Can't make this stuff up.

They lied as best they could for as long as they could, but clearly are not willing to defend him any further.

The problem for Joe Biden, which should afford the path for his elimination, will be donors.

Trump is a populist, he is not as beholden to the donors as Biden is.  If the donors cut off the money, Joe is out....that is the out the Democrats have. For the Dems it will be the candidate that the people who want to pay,,,, to buy,,,,, dictates.

I already see them circling the wagons and rallying around him, yet again.

What I find fascinating is that Biden performed so poorly...no one is really even talking about Trump.

My assessment of Trump was that he was mediocre. He did not stay on topic, kept going back to already concluded topics and in a few cases.....never even answered the question.

Well, I want those questions answered......

Biden was such a train wreck, none of this is even being discussed.....

The party has probably instructed them not to defend him anymore.  Makes it easier to replace him

They just didn't get the memo, that they're moving on from Biden yet.  Once they are fed a new party line, they'll adopt it and change the story to whatever they tell them it is... Probably that Biden has decided that he's accomplished his goals and it's time to enjoy retirement while his hand picked successor, Gavin Newsome, takes the reigns.

How would Newsome actually do in a presidential election?   He has been a hot name for a bit now.   He can talk a good game.  Is younger.   Has those things going for him.  But even dems in other states feel he is extreme and has done some really ass backward stuff in california.  Just because progressive californians will vote for him in a very blue state, doesnt mean he would be popular with liberals elsewhere.

He would have to quickly convince people that his stances wouldnt be as extreme as they have been as governor.
