I never had any inclination to serve since I grew up in an affluent neighborhood where 98% of my graduating class went on to college. I have always had the utmost respect for our service men and women and am very grateful for all that they do, even if not involved directly in combat. My grandfathers both served. 

I don't think being well educated and choosing to go to college right off the bat means someone has less class than someone who chose to, or had no other option than to go the military route. I don't like to generalize those who go into service right out of school but there are statistics to back up many of them having it be their best option more so than a choice.... But I feel like he left out part of the story or something.   If the flag owners did nothing but put the flag in the ground, I’d agree he’s just a triggered lib.  But several of his comments relating to this video seem to be angry at religion also, which IMO is an odd connection if these people didn’t do anything to him.

Fireworks in my neighborhood went on past midnight.  The residue in the streets is impressive.  Back when I participated i would get up early and pickn up and literally sweep the street in front of my house and one house up and down in either direction as well as police up the residue which fell into neighbors yards.  It remains to be seen if my neighbors do so this morning.

 

I can't imagine a single mosquito in the area after all teh BBQ smoke and firework smoke.  The neighborhood seemed on fire.  My wife wants to leave the flags and bunting up through Sunday..
