How about the non-existent protests? The organizers (and some in the media) anticipated 30,000 people would show up and it would be like Chicago in 1968. But only around 3,500 showed up. Desperate to be noticed, they’re burning flags and shouting anti-Semitic epitaphs. But they’re too small to pay attention to. 

The fact is that, in terms of political impact for this election, the change of candidate from Biden to Harris has effectively made this issue go away.

The differences between the two conventions so far could not be more clear. The RNC gave us fear, pessimism, anger.  There were no former presidents, no different voices.  Old, boring cult of personality politics.

The DNC has given us joy, hope, ideas for the future.  All voices including Republicans, all people of different colors, backgrounds and abilities.  Former presidents, future leaders laying out a vision of the future.  Blue collar normal everyday people talking about everyday issues and being energized doing it.  Talking about unity, one America, coming together, moving past the dark times of recent history.

I used to work for a guy like Trump.  A total Narcissist/Sociopath who lived in his own reality.  I used to see all the straight up illegal things he would do behind the scenes and he would laugh about them because he thought he was above the law.   Eventually his empire crumbled when he got caught by the SEC.   They are literally like the same person.   Who wants to actively vote for a person like that to be President of the United States?
