If you’re quoting a 5.1% increase, you need to compare it to the increase nationally.  Otherwise immigrants can’t possibly be the reason for the increase

Actually unlike what someone here claimed I said, when the initial conversation about illegal immigrants’ impact on rent prices first took place, I specifically said that places like border towns that got an usually large number of immigrants could have seen a higher impact than average in rent prices as a result.  But posters here were trying to suggest illegal immigration was driving up rent prices nationally which is ridiculous considering rents are up pretty much everywhere regardless of whether or not there’s been a significant increase in immigrants.

So I guess you could group Springfield as similar to the border towns due to the unusually large increase in immigrants.  Except it doesn’t even appear rents there have increased more than the national average.  These rednecks being interviewed probably don’t realize that rents have increased everywhere, and that many would consider $775 to be a great value.

I have never seen a guy that needs affirmation so badly. He is fine to substitute geese for ducks to say he was right in one post. (Nevermind the clip of the guy at the town council meeting talking about the ducks was already played in here)

Did Anthony Harris at the town council meeting say he witnessed them chopping their heads off? (The answer is no, it came from a random Facebook post, according to Harris’s own Facebook profile).

I watched Tyler’s full video before @JuneJuly posted it.

The only credible report is that they’ve “taken” animals from the park. And even the police report suggests they were already dead, and nothing about eating them.  There was one guy in the video claiming he saw a van driving around collecting cats, the rest were second or third hand rumors like what Anthony Harris shared.

Besides, them killing and eating animals would seem to contradict with the claim that they’re getting unlimited money through free government benefits, wouldn’t it?

As I said previously, the biggest legitimate complaint is their driving skills.   Not one comment in the whole video talking about them committing violent crime.  In fact in Tyler’s video all of the Haitians he talked to were respectful and just laughed off the eating cats questions, meanwhile you’ve got one redneck calling them sand monkeys and another saying “did you see that there were Neo Nazis here?  I’m not saying it’s right, I’m not saying it’s wrong”
