I would ask tom Homan the same question I asked Tim who could not answer. What does Tom Homan mean when he says violent? Does he mean physical force was applied and injury resulted? What about your garden variety stalker, is that violent? I know if my daughter were stalked by an obsessed illegal who had suggested he would hurt her if she did not take him back, or even agree to take him the first time I would not want that person to be able to remain. Say they were convicted, got 30 days and an anger management course. Would I feel safe, would my daughter? The recidivism rate there is high and frankly he would have already dome substantial violence to her psyche if not her physical being. The concept of violence is being thrown around but who knows what it means unless we get more indepth by offering comprehensive definitions..

The concept of violence is being thrown around but who knows what it means unless we get more indepth by offering comprehensive definitions.. 1. It’s irrelevant to Tom Homan because he wants them all deported anyway, violent or not. 2. it’s irrelevant to me because I believe I can look at an individual situation and say “yeah that’s a bad guy; he deserves to go” with a certain amount of ease, But by asking it you avoid the central point which is: whatever your definition of violent criminal, or serious criminal, or bad person, or whatever term you wish to use, we should all be able to agree on one thing: the vast majority of undocumented immigrants do not fit that description. What then is to become of them? Tom Homan wants them rounded up and sent away. @Strike seems to agree with this (at least he doesn’t disagree). What do you think should happen to them? Please answer, as I tried my best to answer you.

He's talking about those with criminal charges (not sure if that answers your question though). I would deport them all. I would not listen to their sob stories that we are disrupting families or communities. The reason I would not is that it would encourage, it would justify continuing the cycle of illegal immigration, just as it has. Additionally it is an insult to those who have properly stood in line and have legally sought entry. Now me, I would expand the number of legal immigrants we take in each year. I would expand the guest worker program as well. Additionally I would allow each Congressperson and Senator to sponsor up to ten nuclear families per year so long as they otherwise qualifified for admittance and citizenship. I would massively tighten the asylum program so that not every sob story sister can get in. I would assure that asylum can only be applied for from outside our borders, not inside. I would tighten and clarify birthright citizenship including the fact that it does not come with the right to be raised in this country by parents who are illegal, it does not confer citizenship or residency rights on the parents. If illegals have kids here maybe the kid is a citizen and should be allowed to return when they reach the age of majority after their parents raise that kid in their country of citizenship. In the end you look to support and comfort those who have jumped the line, who have broken the law. I look to support and comfort those who have and are standing in line, who are honoring our law. One stance gives us borders and soveriegnty, one stance does not. 1

As you would no doubt suspect, I fundamentally and strongly disagree with your position here (at least the “deport them all” part.) I find it unreasonable and unworkable. But I appreciate the clarification. The polling indicates that attitudes are changing about this and that the public really doesn’t want what you are proposing, despite the fact that that they appeared to want it last November. I hope that’s true, we will see.

Strike 5,535 Posted July 3 And here is why I hate the MSM: https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/colorado-grandfather-detained-ice-walking-dog/ So, here's a guy who's been in the U.S. for close to 50 years. And he either has a long rap sheet or a very short one, and either has a deportation order from 1990 or doesn't. But does the MSM do their job and research these issues? They're public records. They have the rap sheet of mass shooters in a matter of hours but now, days later, they still aren't saying what this guys background is. Or they do know but don't want to report it because it doesn't fit the narrative of the story they're trying to tell. But people like @The Real timschochet believe these sources without even questioning them. What bullsh*t. Oh, and for the record, I live in the same city this guy used to live in. I guess what I’m saying is that my neighborhood then didn’t have an army of landscapers coming in and doing basic lawn care. In my neighborhood now, a 30 home cul-de-sac, about half the houses don’t do the basic lawn mowing. And these aren’t all seniors or people unable to do it. These are bourgeois asssholes.
