Chefs/Refs - 17 and 0 this year?

Recommended Posts

Hard to think they will lose when the refs make such horrific calls and non-calls. They should be 1 and 2.  Maholmes sucks so far this year too.

it's just as much pass interference as the chris jones late hit was a bs call :bench:

falcons got 40 yards of penalties on the final drive and still couldn't unfock themselves

Also, my position is that was a bad call and it should have been DPI.  Sucks for the falcons that it wasn't and it definitely influenced the outcome of the game.  However, it wasn't an isolated incident, and it wasn't like these refs were just perfect outside of that call.

The week before on the Bengals game and the DPI that went in favor of the Chiefs, those fans whining about that are dumb because that was definitely DPI.

Not sure why, but the officiating just seems to keep getting worse and worse.  Still, 3-0 is cool

Mahomes has 22 int's called back in his short career. Brady had 16 in his entire career. KC had zero holding calls on the Oline in there winning SB's. Odd

They definitely get a lot of the benefit of the doubt.

But winning does that.

Aren’t you supposedly a Pats fan? Other than the bullsh1t scandals they got calls in their favor for damn near two decades! Starting with the tuck game

That PI was egregiously bad.

The one that got called against the Bengals was at least bang bang and you could make the case that the Bengals player was playing back to the ball. This play the Chiefs guy never saw the ball and just wrapped up Pitts.

But as a Chargers fan i've seen this story many times. The Chiefs always seem to have the calls go their way and the one time it doesn't (against the Bills last year) they whine and cry like crazy about it. Mahomes is already dangerous enough as a QB, he doesn't need the help.

I have absolutely seen a pattern of the refs doing things that appear to only be done or not done to help the Cheifs. Going on for at least the last 2 years. Things that NO other team would get away with. Last year in the very first game the refs allowed the chiefs tackle to be so deep he was almost lining up as a fullback. They called it ONE time even though it was VERY obvious to the point where even the commentators were joking about it. This is not just a hater bitchingg and moaning. I legit think the refs call the Cheif's games different. Either consciously or sub consciously

It was definitely pass interference, but I will say that in real time it does look closer than when the camera slows the play way down.  That's usually the case.

Watching all of the Chiefs games (and other games in the NFL), it seems like more and more often there are calls that are just blatantly bad or missed, more often than it used to be.  This is going both ways, and sometimes I feel like the Chiefs get the advantage for it, but other times the calls are going in the other team's favor.  It's unfortunate because the game should be determined by the play on the field, rather than the guys and gals wearing the black and white stripes.

With this happening, it becomes a lot easier to cherry pick the one or two plays that really look bad, and make it seem like a team that is consistently winning is being favored throughout the game.

Maybe they should make PI reviewable….  Oh wait.. the referees were too lazy to overturn one.

Didnt chiefs get a face guard PI earlier in the game?  Yet a face guard and running into guy at end of game wasnt called?  There just isnt any consistency.  If you are going to call face guarding tight then call it all the time.

Chiefs were likeable for many years but now they're downright hateable.  F this team.

THIS is exactly how I feel. I like mahomes and kelce and andy reid but it really seems like the refs are doing all they can to fock any team they are playing over. It has become blatant.

Is it really all of this, is it more of cmh being 100% annoying, 24/7/365?

you should have been around in 2003 when I had more free time and was breaking down the best OL of all-time (Roaf, Shields, Wiegmann, Waters and Tait) and projecting stats for the entire offense (Trent Green, Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, Eddie Kennison, Johnnie Morton and Tony Gonzalez) and telling everyone that William Bartee was a good enough corner to get this team to a Super Bowl finally.

I was around, but I guess I don't remember it being that annoying...

Yeah I remember that business with the LT last year. It was focking laughable. But, the only way Mahomes didn’t get killed, so they just let it go

Derwin James suspended one game for a helmet to helmet hit. Was not a defenseless receiver. Guess who the Chargers play next week? Ho hum

Right.   I'm the guy calling fouls, either way before the ref pulls the flag either in front of the TV or from the stands.  And usually right.
