That's certainly a big part of it. I make one huge order annually, around this time of year. Toothpaste, TP, body wash, shampoo, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. and even some food items like lawrys fajita and taco seasoning, Ortega taco sauce, sweet baby rays BBQ sauce, etc.

Walgreens is great for getting photos developed. I had to wait forever the other day though. Guy in front of me had like 200 8x10's he was picking up. All pictures of himself feeding pigeons. It was weird.

Guy kept getting distracted by twitter too and was getting super pissed that daniel dale wasnt calling him back.

The market is a leading indicator of where investors think the economy will go. The market also is a reflection of consumer confidence, which perhaps more than anything else impacts the economy.

Except you don't want consumer confidence high during inflation.  That's why you raise interest rates.

It's not over until inflation is 2% and interest rates back to normal.  They raised interest rates 12 times and there has only been one cut.  We're in the middle of it.

Raise tariffs. Reduce other taxes.

Costs to customers stay the same. Advantage to american manufacturing is realized. 

In order to argue against tariffs and in favor of raising other taxes you have to present an argument as to why tariffs make their way to the customer, but other taxes dont.
