MRI This Morning And Double Colonoscopy Next Friday

 MRIs aren’t what they used to be. It was a very fascinating experience. And I’m claustrophobic. I self medicated prior. Forty five minutes long. They looked for everything. When it was over I told the technicians, “that was an interesting” Then had to ask if they knew how much it cost of such a technology machine. They didn’t know so I’m researching it tonight. I’m guessing at least four million. 
 

 Next Friday is my double colonoscopy. Got to do it. I’d rather have a small tube shoved my than down y throat.

What is a double colonoscopy?

Had my first colonoscopy last year. It was more efficient than going to the DMV for any reason. And it didn't hurt like the DMV does. At the same time they needed to check my esophagus. Laid down on a table, was put out, and woke up not even knowing anything happened. Got dressed, went home and had a few beers.

Ditto.   Had mine at 50 and it was so easy and painless.  The drugs worked quick, I woke up.  Had no idea anything happened.   Went along my way.  One of the most simple procedures I have ever had.  The prep wasn't great but so what.  A good colon cleanse once in a while is a good thing I think.

I really wish they would advertise it like this. The whole concept of it freaked me out for a while but it was all just in my head that it was gonna be extremely bad in one way or another.

They should advertise getting a colonoscopy is NOT what you think it is if you never had one. Just go do it.

Interesting... my dad had ulcers later in life, and his drink of choice was milk and scotch (Cutty Sark, to be precise).  I always thought that to be an odd combo, but maybe it helps.

 When I drink it, it looks like my ears
