I think you need to take a break, jon. You predicted right and won the election. You should be celebrating instead of seething with anger about a few unauthorized FEMA workers with their own agenda.

Chill for a day or too.🙂

Eff you moron.   It is illustrative of what is wrong inside the belly of our executive branch and why it is so important to de-fang the beast and get it back to working for the citizens and not the elitist bastards, idiots like you worship.

Lol, just finished reading this thread.

So predictable. Same 2 or 3 clowns playing semantics. Worthless individuals, I have no idea why anybody ever responds to them.

No matter who runs a federal agency there will always be some rogue employees.

This is nothing to get apopletic about. 🤯

I agreed she should face criminal charges.

Like the rogue Minnesota cop that did a Kaepernick on Floyd's neck?

Yes, but I am not sure what exactly she could be charged with...what is exact crime here? Non-performance of her duties? Negligence of some sort? Infliction of emotional distress on those who were unable to sign up for FEMA relief? There is probably something they can come up with, but offhand I am not sure what it is.

I'd go with crimes against humanity. Quick trial, severe punishment. The whole process posted on the major news networks.

Official misconduct.

She opened up FEMA to serious litigation through her actions.  I'm surprised she wasn't terminated within 15 minutes of her actions coming to light.

I don’t trust WOC in positions of authority anymore. Unless they are conservatives.  The leftist ones have shown time and again they have an agenda.

They put a woman of color in charge of the department I'm currently in about 10 years ago.

She would only hire women as leaders.  And this is engineering where 75% of the workforce is male.

Well, the result of that was all the qualified men found other jobs since they saw there was no avenue for advancement.  The business tanked because of brain drain, and she personally had a hand in us losing market share of our biggest products by essentially having us submit flawed proposals.

She got ran off as profit went in the tank, and we're still trying to recover from the damage she did and she hasn't even been around for 7 years.

One of our first DEI initiatives... Before it was called DEI.

They put another unqualified person in charge of the Tomahawk missile program.

Not only is that currently a disaster, but the real world ramification of it is we're probably not going to have upgraded tomahawks due to significant delays.  One DEI hire set back one of the most important military capabilities we have in this country years.

It’s destructive. Good riddance to it in the military I hope.

I posted a link to her LinkedIn page, which has since been deleted.  But I got to read it before she deleted it.  She was some type of reserve FEMA employee.  She has another, real full time job, working for some financial services company of some sort up in Sux's area, but her LinkedIn page specifically mentions being a reserve FEMA employee.  So I think she was an employee of FEMA when they need extra help such as the recent hurricanes.   Hopefully her boss at her regular job gets wind of this and fires her a$$, in addition to FEMA who for whatever reason hasn't already done so.

Yea I saw the LinkedIn page, that’s what I was getting at by saying she was either a volunteer or part time.   She’s been confirmed as an actual employee so part time it is.  So it’s a bit of a stretch IMO for people to be emphasizing the fact that she was referred to as “leadership.”

how can she be a "part-time" supervisor? Doesn't make sense.  That's a full time position.

They probably flex people for surges when disasters need attention.  At least I hope they aren't keeping a standing army on the payroll when nothing is going on

Gee.  I wonder how the defenders would react if the directive was to skip houses with a pride flag out front

Squisiton would use it as more evidence that the SCOTUS needs to give the alphabet.people their long overdue rights.

I dunno... NY took some mislabeling of 8 yr old payout checks to a pron star, tacked on a bogus election interference charge to turn them into felonies in the first way ever, and managed to lawfare the Republican candidate for POTUS.  Simps brag about "34 felonies" like Trump is a serial killer.

I'm confident that the feds can turn this person's behavior into a crime.

Though pretty shitty if it's true, not necessarily illegal.  All it would take is for her boss to be fine with it.  Political affiliation usually isn't protected.  Some States I think have it, but it's not a federal thing.  Though... that almost seems like it should be.

Blatant violation of the Hatch Act against using government resources for political purpose.

Ivan was a university professor RINO, but he really summed up Squssy here:

You're arguing with a person who doesn't know what he's talking about, cherry-picks out-of-date and unreliable sources to win arguments with strangers on the internet, and would sooner eat broken glass than let somebody else have the last word even after being shown that he's wrong.  Don't you have better things to do, like watch paint dry?

Maybe I missed this.  Where, exactly, do they say she is "part time"?   I'm not sure a supervisor/team lead position is "part time".

She was a “reservist” according to her Linkedin

https://www.fema.gov/careers/paths/reservists

(bolding not mine)

Due to the unpredictable nature of disasters, FEMA employs a temporary, on-call workforce, known as Reservists. Reservist work is available on an as-needed basis (it is not full-time or continuous)

that link still shows they are offering sign on bonuses for it.  So doesn’t seem like it was really an in-demand position.

Thanks for the info.

So a "reservist" is someone who works full-time when called up.  For example, when I was in the reserves they called us up for the first Gulf War.  For the next 9 months I was full time in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and when I went back home I went back to "part-time".  It was "full-time" until it wasn't, basically.  So while they are considered "temporary" or "part-time", when they are called up they are actually working full-time.

Full-time, part-time, I am fairly certain the distinction is lost on those who did not recieve services.

I agree, my point was moreso in reference to people that may be suggesting that this story is evidence of a larger conspiracy or government bloat.   If anything these are the types of positions they need more of (as evidenced by their apparent struggle to fill them), but unfortunately it’s not always easy to get qualified candidates for non full-time work.  But you’d think you’d be able to at least find someone who doesn’t think someone that disagrees with them doesn’t deserve help after a disaster

Exactly.

It's a point made when you want to distract or pretend the issue isn't a big deal. It's really irrelevant.

I wonder if a part time federal agent went Rambo on Tim's family and wiped them out, if he would say "no big deal"?:dunno:

For a part-time Federal Agent to truely go "Rambo" Tim's family would have to draw first blood.
