Engorgeous George 1,978 Posted November 21, 2024 I don't drink beer made out of rice. Beer is barley, hops, water and yeast. The things that call themselves beer nowadays are something else. Some may be good brewed conconctions, but they are not beer. All hail the reinheitsgebot

They were directing it towards a specific demographic to grow their customer base and some people turned it into a huge deal. The group of people who hate cancel culture and wokeness decided to fight fire with fire. They made it worse by ignoring the whole situation . I kind of think people wore just as mad or even more when they went totally silent when all the “ frat boy” stuff hit. Now you had the trans issue plus insulting their customers

It's more about adding some fizz to flat beer than it is about adding flavor. Olives in a martini or BM is expected. Olives in a Mich Ultra is just weird. Maximum Overkill 1,646 Posted November 22, 2024 I'm more of a Bourbon type but when I drink beer it's Heineken in bottles as my favorite, Miller High Life in bottles (only good in bottles), Miller Lite cans and a beer called Rattlesnake from Louisiana, it's great just hard to fine. Bud Light's newest commercial is pretty good. Perhaps. If they avoid the radical left influence, I think it entirely plausible.

Miller lite, Bud Light, all the ight beers taste essentially the same. Brand loyalty matters and those that switched most likely won't switch back.

But some definitely taste worse than others. Bud Light, for instance, is maybe the nastiest beer I've ever had. I'd rather drink a 40 of stanky malt liquor than a can of Bud Light. Light beers all taste like ass to me. So I can see no difference between a miller lite and a bud light. Now Coors Light...shouldnt even be sold. But that's a whole other topic

I hate light beer and don't drink much beer generally, but Coors Light is easily my choice for "least wretched" light beer. You and I probably shouldn't go out for drinks together. Unless you like whiskey...

Would love to meet for a beer sometime I would happily take you up on that, but I'm in MN. The closest I ever get to Detroit is when I visit NW Indiana to see family and make a quick jaunt over the border to buy weed in Niles or Buchanon, about three hours west of Detroit. Mike Hunt 249 Posted February 7 If people drank Bud Light before they might come back but it will take time. At least they realized what a terrible blunder they made and have corrected it.
Tree of Knowledge 1,631 Posted February 7 People have moved on from Bud Light. People purchased and drank out of habit. It’s not a good enough tasting beer to ever recover the market share.
