Damn our brother. So sorry for your pain.I know what you’re going through on both. Hold your head up. Doing the right things, like you did, is a great compass. Follow it. You got this.

To late and dang sh!t is already burning my stomach. will just be a once a month or so thing.

Don’t think that way. It doesn’t work that way. I tried that approach a few times. Go back to one day at a time and go to meetings. I’ve been here before. Pam me if you want to talk.

I know I get ya but change my lifestyle and like it to much is why and know that lifestyle. Thank you and honestly wish you would get away from it but understand it's hard from my own doings.

How I feel now exactly and part of me wishes I did a Thelma and Louise with her but I can't.

Nah man. Go in head long. You have to recondition the body to pretend there is no pain involved. Get your shlt together and drink. All in.

OK. Coming from someone who has lost a few dogs in my lifetime that I had to put down, I know what you are feeling. It takes time. And time heals. Stop thinking about that last moment with her. Think about that love and moments you shared together. It gets easier with time.
Your sobriety issue, I understand. That’s a tough one to explain on my end. Two and a half years means you had the desire and strength to do so.

And go to a rescue shelter and get yourself a puppy, the greatest gift that keeps on giving for both of you.
