Perfectly stated.  I love Lamar Jackson.  He’s been my favorite football player since I first saw him at Louisville.  But he talks in broken English, and it makes him sound uneducated and not all that interested in changing.  It has nothing to do with him being black.  I expect the same from everyone - regardless of color.  To give him a pass because of “culture” is the actual racism going on here - “the soft bigotry of low expectations.”

In terms of NFL players as a whole he’s apparently called multiple NFL players (both black) who died dumb.  The one below is about Marquise Hill (which he started the thread on), and in the thread about Sean Taylor’s death which he didn’t start he said: “Think this will change any of the other thug idiots in the NFL or NBA? of course not, they are invincible. ”
