On January 21, ASAC members received a memo stating that their memberships had been terminated, according to the Associated Press. Take the AP story. In the headline they call it a safety committee. In the story they refer to it by its proper name. It was a committee formed after pan am flight 103 and has nothing to do with flight path coordination or anything involved in this crash. Unless you think this was terrorism.
