Yet they fail to also admit that the US would never have allowed a foreign nation to start building up military installations on our border aimed at us. I am willing to accept, for the sake of moving beyond this issue, your assertion that Elon Musk is behaving selflessly in his new role, genuinely seeking to help the USA be better. That doesn’t exactly fit with his telling all sorts of falsehoods about what he has discovered but so be it. The real question should be: are Musk’s changes and cuts and firings, whatever their motivation, beneficial to our country? Time will tell but it doesn’t look good to me. US Citizen PII is very valuable and corporations would love to get their hands on as much as possible to make money off it. Musk could sell or exchange the data to others. He could also use it for his own business advancement too. Not just PII but all US spending data. He can profit greatly off this, as he has profited off US contracts.
