I don't think so. Ukraine has given the "once feared Russian army" a hell of a fight for 3 years now with out-dated weapons and range restrictions. More than held them at bay - they're nearing a million casualties and now using horses, donkeys, Chinese golf cars. With more/better weapons and pushing Russia's economy to near total collapse... that should do it. Most importantly make it perfectly clear to Putin and all Russians - we won't rest till Ukraine wins. Remove all hope.

That said if I was your President - there'd already be US troops fighting in Ukraine right now. Vote for Gobble.

True - in 2024, Russia advanced 25 miles. At a cost of 500,000 casualties, or about 1,400 per day. 

If they can sustain that rate, they'll conquer all of Ukraine in about 100 years.

Well that was BBC, not MSNBC. Other sources (al Jazeera, UK defense, Moscow Times (independent media) range from 400,000 and up.

Most of the russian casualty figures I see are reported by Ukraine so I don’t know what to believe about the numbers.

Trump said today that Zelensky is coming on Friday to sign an agreement to give up most of their rare earth minerals for the USA. But he also said that we would not guarantee Ukraine’s security and that as far as Ukraine joining NATO they could “forget about it.” 
 

Logically, why would Zelensky agree to this? Is he hoping that maybe just the presence of American workers on the ground in Ukraine would itself become a security guarantee? Maybe that’s it, and maybe that’s enough. But if I were him I sure as hell wouldn’t give away my country’s most valuable resources without more of a promise than that.

I think it's pretty substantial, though. I don't know if it's 1 million, but they're reckless and send out soldiers to get mowed down. They've always been like this.
