Egg prices have dropped every day for about two weeks now.  No one seems to care though.  Hmmmm...

Because everyone talking about EGGS was just trolling MAGAs because Trump repeatedly made EGGS an issue on the campaign trail, so it was funny when he took office and the price of EGGS went up.

Unless you run a bakery or something, I doubt the cost of EGGS mattered much to people, when Biden was in office or now under Trump.

EGGS! 🥚

Haven't dropped much where I am at in L.A.

Bought a dozen eggs at Vons/Albertsons yesterday (Vons Lucerne store brand) and the cost was $9.99.

Same, every store around me the cheapest eggs are still $9.99 a dozen.

I bought a dozen Jumbos at the Farmer's Market for $12.  At least I know they are fresh.

Maybe it takes a bit for prices to come down in stores.  Right now the price of eggs has dropped into the $3 range.

I haven't seen that yet in my area.

However, of course they were going to come down. They were up because of bird flu. Once that gets fixed the prices were going to come down.

Egg prices were up because Biden ordered the slaughter of Millions of innocent chickens, Bidenshwitz.

The population is finally coming back and laying eggs again.

This was a Biden doing.

I think Democrats are playing the economy in the wrong way.  I see them as setting themselves up a little.

I know their goal is always "Trump bad!!"  and no matter what find some way to denigrate anything, regardless of its positive value.

BUT.....all this doom-saying about the economy could really backfire on them.  Trump clearly knows how to make the economy work for the average person, he did it once, and he likely is able to do it again.

Instead of the lies around "everything is going so bad"......instead.....they should limit their attacks in that arena, for now, and wait so they can instead pretend the improvements are somehow Bidens to own.   Strategically, lying that this is Biden's economy is better than lying that things are going so bad.

It sure doesn't look that way.

And if he doesn't understand how tariffs really work (which is obviously the case) then he can't make the economy work for the average person.

Biden knew how tarrifs worked. Thats why he kept Trumps in place.  lol.

I disagree. I think they should mostly ignore Trump’s daily deranged utterances and focus on  whether his policies have reduced the cost of groceries, consumer goods, healthcare, housing, education etc. on a monthly basis. Maybe a regular check in on how unemployment and the stock market are looking.

It does look that way, and even CNN isn't trying to deny it.   Strategically, if they are going to lie, they should do so in a way that allows them more maneuverability later.  By boxing  themselves in as that are with the lie that things are going poorly, it actually hurts them far more.

I can get with this approach. I think it makes more sense generally speaking.  There are two sides to this coin, there is "politics" and then there is "reality".   I think a good politician understands how to balance the two.

I remain more or less opposed to using the stock market as a measure of economic success.  This is a position I held back in Trumps first term when the market was doing well, even then I was opposed to using it as an indicator.

I think the wrestling of inflation into control is job "A", but then we have to wring out the inflation that was forced upon us, which will take longer.  And I think we should expect significant job growth, and of the many things that influence inflation in a meaningful way, job creation is certainly in the top 5.  So as the job market heats up, the Fed will need to be ready.....

Just from pure politics, I’d hammer Trump on inflation, unemployment, and the stock market if any of them falter. Trump himself repeatedly bragged about these indicators when he was in office and blamed Biden for them once he left.

I 100% think Trump will live or die by the economy on his watch. If things go sideways for him there I people will get tired of the clown circus fast.

Biden is to blame. But now he's got one foot in the grave and we can finally forget about that freakish POS.

I started buying the free range organic eggs a few months back because they were now cheaper than factory farm eggs. Yesterday, my local grocery store had nothing but free range / organic. Da fuq.
