They do. That is what is unlawful about so many of these mass deportations. Every single person the government attempts to deport should absolutely get their day in court, with proper representation, no matter how long it takes.

He had his day in court.

No they shouldn't, it's not practical, and the Constitution doesn't require it.  Just because you wishcast something doesn't make it true.  As I said initially, it's patently false.

Your hometown is in the DC area?

No. My bad. He spent so much time in the 80s in Huntington Beach that I thought he was from there. Got that wrong.

I met him in an old time folky coffee shop on Main Street. I can’t even remember the name. They had an open mic night and I played guitar and sang. I wasn’t very good but he applauded and shook my hand after. True story.

Tim thinks everyone should follow the law, unless HE decides a law is immoral.  Then everyone should break it.  But he thinks Trump is the dictator despite Trump following every court order he's presented with no matter how ridiculous.

Otherwise known as Due Process, which Garcia was initially denied, which is why he became a topic of national discussion and a cause célèbre for Democrats and liberals.

For some reason MAGA folks here want to fast track all deporations and circumvent the Constitution.

No they don't.  He has had a final order of removal since 2019.  There is no legal impediment to deporting him.

Last month you thought there was.  There wasn’t.  Will you admit you were wrong?

Exceptions and limitations to having a court hearing
  • Expedited removal: Immigrants who are apprehended within 100 miles of a U.S. border and have been in the country for less than two years may be subject to expedited removal.
    • This process allows the government to deport people without a full hearing before an immigration judge.
    • An exception is made if the person claims a credible fear of persecution or torture in their home country. In that event, they receive a hearing to determine if they qualify for asylum.

Comet Ping Pong Pizza is the name you can’t recall?

As long as they don’t put him in a prison like last time, or drop him in the middle of the jungle or something, does it matter where he goes?  Couldn’t he get a flight somewhere else?

George Soros will have a plane waiting for him in Uganda, then he'll use GoFundMe to buy a mansion on the French Riviera next to Patrice Cullors and be beating up French women by the end of the week,.

And then his wife will join him in a year or two with at least a few million after she sues the government.

More likely she thanks Trump for not having to get beaten any longer.

Are you going to admit you were wrong about the court order?

Do you ever get tired of being wrong? I mean you're not just wrong every once in awhile, you're wrong every time. Between your false predictions and your Tim-casting you haven't been right on a single thing ever.

He's referring to an activist judge who put a hold on deporting this gang banger later today.  We'll see how long that lasts.

Thanks for the clarification. 👍

He’s referring to the court order that you were wrong about a month ago but then forgot you said anything about.  It doesn’t prevent them from deporting him, it just says they need to give him a 72 hour notice of what country they plan to send him to, give him an opportunity to argue if he has a credible fear of going to that country, and ensure that that country isn’t going to send him to El Salvador.
