You're trying to tell intelligent adults that it's just a coincidence that she has a really good resume, Trump doesn't know her personally and the only reason he picked her is because he saw her on The 5? Yes like several at Fox she attends events at Maralago or just personally knows Trump. But Pirro especially, her felon ex-husband was Trump's lobbyist and she personally lobbied for his pardon. Trump is also a big fan of her show. He wailed when she was suspended from Fox and after she lost her show. He regularly comments on her show like he does other Fox shows when they're on or just after on Pravda Social. Right now off the top of my head these are the Fox people Trump has nominated or named to cabinet or near cabinet positions: Pirro - Fox news host - USA DC - will have oversight over any Trump administration corruption or criminal issues. Hegseth - Fox news host - Secretary of Defense. Duffy - Sec. of Transportation. Gen. Cain - Fox news pundit - Chief of Staff, US military. Leavitt - Fox news pundit - WH press secretary. Tammy Bruce - Fox news pundit - State Dept. spokeswoman. Huckabee - US ambassador to Israel. Dan Bongino - Fox news host - Deputy Director FBI

Not because your points aren’t absolutely correct, but because we’re supposed to be having a serious discussion about Jeannine focking Pirro. She’s a total joke, a total embarrassment. There’s not one Biden appointment that even comes close to this absurd nomination. (There ARE a few Trumps ones that do.)

Well frankly IMO 2 years as county judge and 10-11 years as a county DA even in a big county like Westchester doesn't qualify for US Attorney for DC. Just as an example, to avoid all the Obama / Trump stuff, the US Attorney for DC picked by Bush Sr. had been an Assistant US Attorney, and had years of experience at DOJ. Has Pirro ever tried a federal case?

Cain is probably the best one, but even he did not meet the legal requirements for Chief. IMO Trump likely picked him because he loves the "Raisin' Cain" moniker, like he liked Mattis because they called him 'Mad Dog'. Then Mattis ended up doing actual work at which point Trump fired him. Pirro has never done a federal trial much less any corruption or regulatory work. An Assistant US Attorney leads and prosecutes trials, "Assistant" doesn't literally mean "Assist", it means they are under the US Attorney. Even the US Attorney in your own district likely has years of prosecution experience as an Assistant US Attorney, that's typical.

I don't underrate Pirros' trial experience, I wouldn't be surprised if she tried a hundred cases as an ADA, but she has no federal experience and no corruption prosecutions. SaintsInDome2006 418 Posted Monday at 11:51 PM Quote "For Pirro, the stakes are high. She is said to be considering a run for New York attorney general next year (when asked, she said "no comment" with a smile). Since January 2004 she's raised $600,000 without declaring a candidacy. Donors include designer Tommy Hilfiger, Donald Trump and numerous contractors and Realtors who've done business with her husband. Albert Pirro, meanwhile, finished doing time in 2002 for criminal tax fraud and reestablished himself as a lobbyist. Jeanine Pirro, 53, insists she and her husband lead independent lives, and never speak to one another about work. Though she said, "I don't discuss my career with my husband," several of his lobbyist clients have contributed to her campaign, records show. When asked about her husband's fund-raising activities, she said, "It's irrelevant. "She acknowledged she was aware of the FBI tape of Gambino capo Greg DePalma talking about her husband before The News revealed the existence of the conversation, which occurred at an Oct. 22 meeting between gangsters at the Bentley Cafe in Tuckahoe. "I was surprised. It seemed incredible," she said. On tape, DePalma claimed that "the DA's husband" had shared information about the DA's investigation of a corrupt local cop with a reputed mob associate named Robert Persico, according to FBI documents obtained by The News. Albert Pirro said last week that the conversation never occurred, and that he'll sue Persico. Persico said through his lawyer Barry Levin that he did speak of the corrupt cop with DePalma but never mentioned the Pirros. Jeanine Pirro erupted when asked why her husband did business with Robert Persico, who had been publicly labeled a Gambino associate in 1998. Her voice rising, she declared, "Ask him that! I'm not here to apologize for anyone. NY Daily News
