IMO this is fair food for thought. Journalists have been after this stuff since before 2015. There was a judge who stayed on the bench into his 90s who repeatedly kept court records sealed. For a long time it was maybe 2-3 journalists pursuing this story wayyy before Trump was ever mentioned & by & large few cared. But by the same token it was maga that drove this, not liberals. The original premise was that Clinton & hyperpowerful people in The Swamp were being covered for. Go see Jon’s posts as he is still at it. 
 

Even now the same thing that happened with Epstein - favorable jail conditions - is happening with Maxwell. Exact same pattern. It’s happening now.

Isn’t the inverse true? If MAGA cared about the sexual abuse of minors so much, why do they defend a guy who campaigned for Roy Moore, nominated Matt Gaetz for AG, pardoned the CEO of a business that worked with child pornographers, hung out with sex traffickers, etc. 

Seems to me your concern is entirely partisan.

Thinking about what Megyn Kelly said. Her phrasing was dumb, she is defending illegal behavior after all, but it’s pretty clear what she was saying.

They’re not. We don’t know what Trump did or didn’t do. The only thing we know, or think we know, at this point is: 

1. Epstein’s emails suggest Trump is lying when he claims he has no idea what Epstein was involved in. (BTW, this claim was also contradicted by Leavitt yesterday when she said that Trump kicked Epstein out of Maralago because he was a pedophile- Trump claims it was another non related reason. 
2. Epstein’s emails suggest Trump is lying about never spending time at Epstein’s house. 
3. Trump’s statements and actions regarding this matter ever since March of this year are entirely inconsistent with those of an innocent person with nothing to hide.
