You know what’s funny….maybe 10 years ago i watched a documentary about the new wave of models that were coming from Eastern Europe. It was following a contest that was trying to locate the next beautiful young model from like the countryside. I love all things related to fashion so it seemed really interesting. So it follows a young girl who becomes a contestant in this model talent competition. I don’t think she won, but still agents liked her and gave her contacts to leave her home country and to travel to Paris where she would walk in fashion shows. 
But, here’s what really happened…they ended up sending her to Japan or Korea and they make her somehow stuck and she’s running around trying to get modeling jobs but never secured any. However, the people she’s working for started making her go on dates with businessmen and politicians. As the documentary goes forward it’s clear she’s being trafficked and the whole modeling contest thing is a scam to get pretty girls. It was really sad. I never forgot it. In fact…

It reminded me of an episode of the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous about Adnan Kashoogi. This is way before you guys time but apparently he would have these huge parties on his yachts and he would have models there who were hired to be friendly with the guests. The models would even have their own little apartments on his estate where he would visit them and they would have sex parties. I believe it’s on YouTube. I recall he dated a model I liked and she revealed all these things. Of course, at the time it was seen as fun and not toxic or perverted. 
My point is that, I believe, this is something that is occurring everywhere and is all sort of interlinked.

 The Bolshoi ballet is rumored to be a way for politicians to have lovers with ballerinas who cannot refuse. I even remember hearing that if you see a model on the cover of such and so magazine, it means she’s slept her way there. They the modeling industry is rife with people sexually abusing young models.

The former model , Jill Dodd, who describes being involved with Adnan Kashoogi. Note: she says the modeling agency sent Adnan a book of photographs of models for him to choose from. AND that black model who was recently interviewed who was on Epstein island said Epstein was able to help her career because Epstein was directly getting her work and he was closely dealing with the head of modeling agencies. I think some girls feel exploited while others admit it helps their careers.
