No they’re not socialist. Their leaders in each case tried to implement socialist ideas. Some have lasted particularly in Western Europe (universal health care and old age benefits for example.) Others have been reversed over time. The point is none of them became Communist. 
 

Actually thinking about this a little more I would be hard put to find ANY Conmunist countries that arose out of Socialism. All the ones I can think of came to power through bloody revolution (Soviet Russia, China, Vietnam, Cuba, Venezuela, Cambodia, several counties in Africa) or military occupation (eastern Europe after 1945.) There may be examples I’m not considering.

I think these are great ideas and we should definitely elected leaders who will implement them. Seems weird the DNC has adopted a lot of their talking points. There’s too much stupid to list it all.

5. Mamdami is not anti-Semitic. Nor is he anti-Israel. He is anti-Netanyahu and highly critical of Israel’s current government. Mamdami does not support Hamas. 
 

Once these facts are accepted, we can then have an intelligent conversation about what kind of mayor this guy will be. Until then we can’t. 

I wouldn't worry too much about the labels political opponents come up with for politicians they don't like.

We get labeled as Nazis, fascists, racists, homophobes, sexists, threat to democracy, yada yada yada by leftoid freaks all the time. It's just noise.

Mamdani is what he is. He advocates for a slew of polices that have failed time and again whenever tried. New York is going to suffer for voting for him, but they get what they elect. This generation has to see Socialism fail for themselves. I say let Mamdani, Karen Bass, Lori Lightfoot, Brandon Johnson, Ted Wheeler, London Breed, Jenny Dirtcan,  Murial Bowser and the rest teach them. I don't live there, I don't care.

The list of things i eat with my hands is fairly long and in addition to those already listed includes fried chicken and chicken wings, brownies, brats, egg rolls, ribs, fied mushrooms, toast, biscuits, nuts, asnd sliced veggies.  Some things i will always use a utensil for include rice and peas, except when served in Ethiopea were I eat rice by grabbing it with the soda bread they serve (injera Sp?).  Do I care how this moke eats his rice, not in the least.  Would I eat from his plate, absolutely not.
