Make “Whites Only” Great Again

Recommended Posts

Found your next residence, @Cdub100 and @iam90sbaby.  No blacks, Jews, or gays allowed.

I’m sure some idiots here will somehow try to claim this isn’t racist.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out in the courts.  The “leader” claims they don’t sell real estate, so maybe it’s just a cult.

Interesting story. I don’t know if they have the legal right to do this but…I kind of think they should. So long as they’re a completely private community and demand nothing from the state.

That’s my take. I like the idea of white trash self-segregating.

They says it is legal because it is a private members association or a private club. 🤔

There are only about 40 people living there and it seems to be in remote part of the Ozarks, so I would doubt that any blacks, Jews, or gays will try to move in so there can be a court challenge.

White and black trash should eliminate themselves.  Deal?

What will be interesting is what happens if (when?) one of their kids turns out to be gay

Plus they all have the same DNA, kind of like every limb, branch and leaf in Peefoam's family tree.

The whole Boston area is super racist.  As I've often said, they love the idea of helping the blacks... as long as they stay in Roxbury.  Newton?  Yeah, not so much.

Heck, in many parts of Massachusetts a dirty white guy like me (Polish/Italian/Slovak) wouldn't be welcome. :dunno:

I imagine the racism is more insidious, as with many liberal regions.

No he didn't. He made a stupid comparison between a predominantly white state, which has been that way due to socioeconomics, and a racist community that has found a way to be all white.

Vermont's overwhelmingly white population is a result of a combination of historical and social factors. Historically, the state's small farm economy and lack of large-scale industries meant there was less need for or opportunity for a diverse population to settle there. Furthermore, Vermont's strong emphasis on its "rural" and "progressive" identity, while seemingly positive, can create barriers to entry for people of color, potentially leading to a perpetuation of its whiteness, according to the Peace & Justice Center.

Dumb assumption on your part, as usual.

Help us understand how the socioeconomics limit the Asian population to 1.66%

I see some folks on social media calling out the irony that “the land” was stolen from Native Americans, and defenders saying “it wasn’t stolen, it was conquered!”

Does that mean it’s okay for someone to go and “conquer” these jokers?

Your rationalization is that progressivism begets racism.  That's good to know; thanks for educating me.

Not that this ANYTHING to do with a racist group that has created an all-white community, but ...

AI Overview

Factors contributing to the low number of Asian Americans in Vermont
While the number of Asian Americans in Vermont has seen some growth in recent years, they still represent a relatively small proportion of the state's total population. Here are some of the key factors contributing to this trend:
1. Lack of established communities
  • Vermont has not historically been a major destination for Asian immigrants, in contrast to states with larger urban centers and existing Asian diaspora communities, notes migrationpolicy.org.
  • The absence of well-established social and cultural networks can make it challenging for Asian Americans to find community and integrate into the state's predominantly white culture, according to downstreet.org.
2. Economic and social environment
  • Limited economic opportunities: Vermont's smaller economy and job market may not offer the same range of opportunities that often attract Asian immigrants seeking professional or entrepreneurial endeavors, says Quora.
  • Rural nature and perceived lack of diversity: Many Asian immigrants tend to gravitate towards urban areas with more diverse populations and services catering to their needs. Vermont's rural nature might not be as appealing in this regard.
  • Potential for subtle biases and microaggressions: Some Asian American residents have reported experiencing microaggressions and a feeling of being viewed as "other" in Vermont, which can create a sense of not fully belonging, according to residents quoted in the Burlington Free Press.
3. Historical and immigration patterns
  • Early immigration policies: Restrictive immigration laws in the past, including those that specifically targeted Asian immigrants, limited the overall influx of Asian populations to the United States, notes Wikipedia.
  • Focus on other states: Historically, Asian immigrants have settled in greater numbers in states like California, New York, and other areas with more pronounced economic opportunities or existing family networks, says the Pew Research Center.
Important Note: It's essential to recognize that Vermont's Asian American population, while small, is growing and becoming more visible, according to WPTZ. There are ongoing efforts to address issues of diversity and inclusion within the state, as highlighted by initiatives like those mentioned by the University of Vermont and the Vermont New American Advisory Council.

As I said, socioeconomics. Blacks, Asians and other non-whites can move right into Vermont if they wanted to.

Absolutely true.

Here’s how the history of civil rights get taught in our high schools: the American south was racist, segregationist. The rest of the country, north and west, looked on in horror. Martin Luther King comes along, leads a bunch of marches, solves it. Racism is done and in the north it never happened anyhow.

Apparently, while he ignores the fact that socioeconomics have been the No. 1 factor into why Vermont is predominantly white and instead blames liberals.

That's like blaming conservatives for whites being a minority group in Hawaii.

🤣
