From a legal standpoint black-only dorms in US schools are not generally permissible due to anti-discrimination laws. While some schools may have affinity housing options, these are typically open to all students, regardless of race, who share a particular interest or background.

It’s seems very important to white conservatives to make the argument that minorities, particularly black people, can also be racist. I have never understood why this is so; it strikes me as very defensive and irrelevant.

That being said, in THIS country, both in our long history and in the present day, 99% of the racism that occurs has come from white people towards other, darker races.

1)  You have no way of knowing this.  It would be impossible for anyone to quantify every racist act ever committed in this country and define percentages by race.

Well, its important because we should stand up to racism where we observe it, regardless who is doing it.  This is important.  Allowance for "reasons" can come back to bite you, so no.....I do not accept we should just allow black people to be racist without calling it outy

Well there are multiple posters in this thread trying to argue that it’s not racist, but thank you for confirming.
