US State Survivor: Round 1: Groups A/B/C...

I don't know if this will take off and be entertaining (I doubt it, but one can hope), but this is a very simple process...

In each group, vote for the state that you want to get rid of...  When the voting deadline is reached (a couple of days, maybe?), the state with most votes in the group will be eliminated...  If there is a tie, I get to choose the one that gets sent home...  I will not be voting in the initial process...

This will proceed for a while, until the winning US State is crowned...  Unless I get bored with it and take a break from it...

Enjoy, and if you don't like it, go screw yourself...

Terrible politics and terrible to the indigenous people who live there. You ever venture into the non-tourist areas of Hawaii? They are not afraid to yell things at white people, they don't want you there.

That is why I said no criteria for voting...  I just wanted to see when presented with the states and the highest vote total would be eliminated, it could be for many different reasons...

There are states I’d never want to live in politically like Utah or Alaska, but the landscapes are a national treasure.

I like that; Arizona should fair well with that criteria.   

I tried to do a general contribution idea.  Kansas and Montana were two of mine.  I think Missouri was the other?  If your biggest city is named after the state next door, you might be a redneck.

All those voting for Kentucky are dead to me; bourbon >>>>> most other things.

Good criteria.  I also included data like GDP, livability and implied value to the rest of the states, whether it's natural resources, recreation, etc.

I voted for Alaska, Indiana and Utah.  Yes Alaska and Utah are beautiful but Alaska too cold and desolate and Utah is filled with LDS.

Out of curiosity, have you been outside of the tourist cities on HI, the more remote ends of the islands that get no tourist dollars?
