And the way it played out, while it seemed suspicious, was not a coup. I also don't think it's an apt comparison between the two. Joe was fading fast, his handlers shielded him from the public finding out as much as they could. Nobody in Trump's orbit can do that, he's made sure of it. And he can't stay away from the cameras. He could start convulsing at a news conference and would claim nothing was wrong with him.

Respectfully disagree about the coup part. I mean, if we saw Donald wasn’t going to win and he wanted to run again and they kicked him out of a sitting presidency. The left would definitely be calling it a coup, overthrowing the government, insurrection, you name it.

That’s what i mean. He’s in front of the cameras all the time. When I saw the thread, he was actually talking and moving his hands everywhere like he normally does. He looks fine. He’s aging, you bruise more easily, it happens. 
 

I know it’s tongue and cheek, but equating the two scenarios isn’t even apples and oranges

Well that's probably true, but IIRC the only thing the DNC could do was run Kamala due to campaign finance laws. They couldn't use the donated money if someone that wasn't on the ticket when the donations came in replaced someone that was (or something like that). They'd probably rather lose the election than the money, anyway. 

Of all the people on the political left that get casually labeled criminals, Biden's close associates are probably the ones that are closest to actually committing crimes. What they did was unforgivable.

Want to correct a couple of things: 

1. People think I’m worried about this. I’m not worried. President Trump is, IMO, incompetent, a criminal, a terrible President, and an awful human being. Nonetheless he is my President and he certainly appears to be unhealthy. To me that’s a topic worth discussing. Personally I hope he’s in good health because he is my President. Once he’s out of office I hope he rots in jail (though I still would never wish him or anyone else ill health.) 

2. I never thought Joe Biden was in ill health. I was never concerned about it. I still think he had a terrible debate but was able to make cognitive decisions just fine as President. I think overall he was an excellent President. 
 

3. Most of the attacks on Biden’s health during his term were extremely spiteful and insulting and made by the same people who took pleasure in accusing him of pedophilia. That’s why I chose to ignore them, and I would do so again. This thread is far different: there is no spitefulness or insult in intent. I simply note that President Trump doesn’t look healthy to me or many others and chose to start a conversation about it. My motives are exactly that: a conversation. No more and no less.

Yeah, I think if I recall, they could’ve gone to convention and picked one, but that was going to be pretty late. The real issue they didn’t pivot when everybody saw Joe is going south, but is what it is.
 

The right definitely has its own problems, but almost every scenario where the left has said the Republicans are this or that they end up being the ones that get busted or were the ones actually doing that thing they accused us of
