Deadpan humor, like Uncle Payton and Uncle Eli?

I only respect Grandpa Archie. Payton and Eli are both very desirable humans. I hope Arch will bring up the rear.

For what it is worth, I have read that of the three Manning brothers. Cooper Manning was the superior athlete and had the most natural football talent before a career-ending spinal stenosis diagnosis ended his playing days just before his freshman season at Ole Miss.  Cooper was a highly-touted All-American receiver who was expected to be the first Manning to reach the NFL.

For as great as they were as QBs in the NFL, relatively speaking, they werent very athletic. Cooper played a position that required some athleticism...your point makes sense to me.

He's going to be good and just needs more game play and will probably stick around for next year as well. Which I think will be a smart move on his end.

He will have solid season when it’s all said and done. Sucks he had to make his debut against the best program of all time.

Potential for an all-time bad @edjr take right up there with the housing market is going to crash in 2018

We learned last year that 2024 Michigan didn't need a QB to beat Ohio State, with their clownish Offensive Line who I was laughing at all game. Don't need a QB so much when so many drives start deep in opposing territory.  We'll see what happens this year.

Other than the fact that Cooper Manning was a very good player in how own right, your comparison is spot on

I don't think Arch Manning quite lives up to the hype. No way he will be close to Peyton in terms of talent or to Eli in terms of clutch, but I think he will have a solid NFL career.
